Cheers Fabio. Was alarmed with the drift but travelled beautifully for Andy Lynch all the way, took him into the race on her own and he steered her home well round the sharp last bend there.
Gonna chance two seeing as the forum is on fire at Ballinrobe tonight, hopefully it can rub off on me!

Is there any logical reason whatsoever not to stick a fair few quid on Novak to win the French? Rafa is at 80% of his best which could probably be enough on his beloved clay in Paris against anyone bar Novak? Andy Murray battered him 2 weeks ago and it's his least favoured surface. Obviously we'll not get rich lumping on 10/11 shots but currently Djokovic seems on another level to the rest of the Big 3? I make him closer to a 4/6 shot...
Thoughts?
It's one I've stayed away from to be honest. I'm a big tennis fan and love a bet on it too but this French Open is a tough one to call. My one betting rule in tennis has always been to never back against Nadal on clay, I'm sticking with that. He's not been himself but he's a totally different beast when he turns up at Roland Garros, he'll still be a hard man to beat over 5 sets on the dirt.
I'm usually the same but I think French Open no. 10 is beyond him, this year anyway. Id a been more wary of him if he was scheduled to meet Novak in the Final but its the QFs and if you're going to get Rafa beat its probably going to be easier doing so earlier.
It's actually a shame it's worked out that way, you want to see those sort of matches as a final, it's too early in the tournament for those 2 to be playing. Tell you what though, if they go at it for 5 sets and go on for hours, Andy Murray could be waiting there to pick up the pieces in the semi final. It still wouldn't be easy but the form Murray has shown on clay this year it could just give him that bit more belief.
There is a simple explanation. I selected it.Thought the run of Rio Ronaldo is hard to decipher. Squeezed up at the start and a bit keen. Travelled through the race powerfully and probably the last off the bridle but he found very little when asked. Puzzled by it but there's no doubt in my mind he's better than his current mark.

Don't worry Fabio. It will end tomorrow. I've selected the same one as you. Sorry.
Even I'm getting bored of it now to be fair, I'm actually starting to sigh and roll my eyes every time I see I have another winner, it's becoming a burden![]()
Well done BeefyDisappointing fare everywhere for a Bank Holiday Monday but c'est la vie. I've been scrawling the Ballinrobe card and I think I've found a very decent chance in the first.
Ballinrobe 6.00 MR BOSS MAN 4/1
Two starts ago this lad ran 2nd in a 26 runner charity race at the Punchestown Festival from which the horse who won (by a 1/2l) won his next start by 17l. Last time out Mr Boss Man made his first start over hurdles over 3miles which seemed to stretch him plenty enough but he ran OK finishing 3rd beat 6l by an improving Jessie Harrington animal Duckweed. Being an ex flat horse I'd be confident a drop back tomorrow night to just over 2m should suit much better and that the last start was simply to get some hurdling practice in. The favourite of Elliot's looks to be one to avoided as this is now his 8th attempt to break his maiden tag! For an average looking maiden hurdle on a Monday night, I'm as confident as I can be that Mr Boss Man can decisively take this enroute to bigger and better things.
Good luck![]()
