Look i think people should therefore separate the frustration out.

1. Milner

2. signing top players

If you fear LFc will be left with milner and nobody else then don't blame milner for that.. if he even signs

Same for ings.

Put your blame where is should be

LFC transfer committee & FSG... do not excuse rodgers at all. he is a voting member of the committee with a veto too boot.

Is milner all that... FFS no but why are others on growling about him when in fact they are growling at the symptom not the cause.

This is where we just have to wait and see, if we signed just for example Pogba and Milner then no problems if we sign just Milner we are unhappy.

And you are right in that it's down to the transfer bunch to get this right.
 
If we did that someone would still be unhappy.

Milner on his own = prepare to be down with veverton in midtable. that won't be his fault.

Same as how the mancs singled out felliani cos their club failed to get it right and now he's their best player.

Or how the arsenal fans regularly round on giroud despite him being their only forward... not his fault.
 
The BBC Gossip Column says that BR wants Jovetic from City. On his day he's a very good striker. I hope he won't miss much games through injuries.

heard this... think it is for europa and says to me they know they have lovern and can't spend another 20mil on a CB... which is why rodgers is going nowhere and is going to waste another season.

Jones says he is going so there will be some ****e keepr coming.

I'd say.
1 CB
1 CM (maybe 2)
2 Strikers

At the very least, all need to be quality and assuming only a few leave from this years squad, Gerrard, Johnson, Balo, Lambert.
 
Agree with Gez - another keeper is needed.

I'd say in a perfect world, I would bring 6.

RCB, DM and CF are priorities.

Then a player who can play both full back roles (Montoya would be ideal), a quality CM (not Milner) and another attacker (versatile who can play wide or centrally).

I just hope we don't over-emphasise/prioritise the attack by simply buying strikers. Fixing the attack is not as simple as buying strikers. Yes, let's get a quality striker in and that's it.
