oh good, glad you changed your tune so quickly. I will put my 2 penneth in You are the typical thick-as-****-no-life-experiences-to-talk-of-but-still-think-you-know-it-all-because-you-read-in-a-book student who likes to tell people that actually lived through a certain period of time, that they're all mistaken. you are a twat
I am a retired National Director of a Multi-National Company having spent 40 years in accountancy working in the UK, Europe, Australia and USA. My student days ended with an honours degree in Mathematics - all facts you would be aware of had you been on our board for many years instead of your recent guest appearance. If all of that plus 70 years of life experience makes me a twat then I plead guilty as charged.
1950, I wouldn't bother mate. Muggins comes over as exactly what we know he is. Who he is is quite another matter. I would guess a JWM puppet, although he doesn't seem as bright as that particular half wit.
I agree my friend - I really shouldn't have got involved with him in the first place but I never did know when to keep my mouth shut.
Spoken like a true blue. Lucky there is no tax on sports car spoilers Kempy. Are you Camoron's NHS spin Dr ?
I much prefer '1st past the post' to any system of PR as it makes coalitions the exception rather than the rule. I believe Italy is trying to change its system of PR after many decades of weak and corrupt governments decided behind closed doors without the electorates consent. For the UK, with its generally ignorant and gullible electorate it is far safer with the simple system we have than PR. The electoral system we have is based around two parties and is there to provide strong government, not to reflect the individual wishes of the electorate.
Got to agree with Kempy here. I didn't vote tory but have to say that for a generally intelligent and entertaining poster Munky, that post was pathetic at best. I know plenty of tory voters and they do not vote for them out of some perverse desire to see others suffer, much as yours and others blind hatred of the tories would have you believe. I think you should shuffle off to the naughty step, we'll let you off again for 12:15 tomorrow when there's more important business afoot. Bah!
No, but if the boot was on the other foot I wouldn't brand everyone who voted for labour a ****ing arsehole. Because frankly it's just ****ing stupid to do so. The country have spoken, if you don't like what they have said fair enough but don't throw your toys out the pram. Be a man and take it on the chin.
The Jocks voted NO to split then voted Comoron's opposition out whilst trying to piggyback Milibore's majority. Over egged la pudding .
Losing fair and square is one thing. Losing to a raving English nationalist rant against our fellow countrymen just because they happen to live a few hundred miles North from us is another. Quite honestly I hope a hundred thousand of them blockade Faslane and tell Cameron to stick his nuclear subs. The SNP got 50% that's a mandate Dave you Bullingdon C**t!
Yes, it's a mandate but the Scottish public voted against it because they want to have their cake and eat it. They want the benefits of being in the union with their own MP's. This is what they have got. They are still governed largely by Westminster and as long as they want the benefits its will continue in this fashion. I can't see anything changing in the near future.
The only ones having a rant are the jocks and if you call getting a paltry 1.5M votes having a mandate, well that says a lot for our political system. That said, the nation has spoken, common sense has prevailed and the silent majority has it's wish. The Scots have now made Labour unelectable for the foreseeable future and the sooner they get their independence the better.
I take it that no one wants to discuss the relative merits of PR and FPTP then. Perhaps after tomorrow's business. ON THE BALL CITY!!!
