Pretty stupid, but it wasn't just that they wanted to ban them the vote passed so they did ban them, because they claim that they are a European Socialist thing and part of a conspiracy by the New World order of which agenda 21 is part of. The ban passed with like 70% in support. They claim lots of things are European socialist things and should be banned its not just round abouts they don't like.

Football (or soccer) is usually described as such isn't it?

What else? I fancy a laugh after agonising over my general election vote all month.

I've just come to the decision that I can't be arsed to vote.

They're all ****ers, I'm ill, and the twenty minute walk down to the polling station in pissing rain and wind just doesn't appeal.

May every one of the ****s lose.

Yea they don't like soccer, my high school only had girls soccer as they said it was a communist/gay sport. I'm not sure why it was ok for girls to play a communist sport though. The school board had to approve sports and I don't think there Was a vote to ban it as it was understood that no boy should play soccer, men played our football or baseball.

I'm not sure any will be as funny as roundabouts or as evil as legalizing killing gays and some that I think are crazy might actually be supported by some on here.

I bet we're the UK's only message board with a general election thread, that's discussing the banning of roundabouts in California. <laugh>

Thin end of the wedge though.

If it can happen on the west coast it can happen here.

End of the day, you can plant a garden on a roundabout if it's big enough.

The one at Stoneferry/Leads Road is a stunning example, that's more like a forest (I think). And the one on Vicky Dock near the Spar, got woodchip on it if I'm not mistaken.

    Beauties.

I just can't fathom them yanks sometimes.

You can even sponsor one so everyone knows *you* are the keeper of that roundabout.

I guess what I'm saying, in a roundabout way, is give roundabouts a chance.

This could go round in circles.

My gf has been sending photos to me of people who took their pets with them to vote in your election. She sent one of someone who took a sheep with them on a leash.
