This is where being a moron and thinking your club can only ever move forwards when every other club is trying to do the same gets managers sacked for their own success.

Everyone admits 2nd was a massive overachievement last season so why does it suddenly become the new standard? What does it matter if we spent £60m if we still only have the 5th most expensive squad?

Our effective net spend was £28m (£9m less than Everton), ignoring Origi who comes next season.

Sure **** it, who's won trophies seeing as goodwill from previous success is what it is all about.

Lets get Kenny back he won leagues with two different PL sides, even Fergie or Mourinho hasn't done that:bandit:

Not sure why complimenting Southampton is a bad thing. We should have been in that group of Liverpool/Spurs/Southampton looking at 5/6th

I said consistently last year trust in SAS and enjoy it while it lasted.... you guys can't deny i didn't.

Southampton's success and stability has nothing to do with Everton's tragedy or Liverpool's flim flamming tho has it. Southampton are amiing to stay where they are, we are aiming higher, when you jump to reach a height, the fall is harder.

I don't go using Spurs to measure Everton. There's a good reason for that too<ok>

There one guy If real are mad enough to let go I'd give 20mil a year to if I had to and its not klopp either.

If you want to make it ONLY about this year I think you'll find rodgers looking pretty weak in next 4 games so you go enjoy that while it lasts!
