Was anyone listening, apparently he's said something about the club needing better PR and communicating better with the fans?

Talk about selective hearing.

The context of the club needing better PR was in terms of better communicating Allams generosity to the community.

Bruce is calling for NO distractions from the fans.

Did you miss that bit?

Talk about selective reading, did you miss the bit were OLM said 'apparently'? and asked if anyone had listened?

I assume he missed every bit given that he was asking if anyone had listened and, if they had, whether they could confirm what he had been told had been said actually had !

Well... no excuses for him to check it out himself....

and then of course he'll ignore it when Bruce says he doesn't care what anyone else says, there is nobody else in the City with the generosity of Allam.

What percentage of his income does he give away every year? Does his generosity impact on his living standards?

That may well be true, it's easy to give away a million when you have 320 of them. I have more respect for the OAP who puts a fiver of her pension into an envelope and sends it to help people in places they'd never even heard of.
Plenty of people give to worthy causes, but most don't do it for publicity.

I'm sure all the people whose lives have been saved by Assem Allam's altruism agree with you.

The measure of a true philanthropist is one that is happy to keep his anonymity.

The distraction from the fans really hindered them at Palace. NOT. To be honest, the only good thing to come out of the name change nonsense is it incenses most right-thinking fans so much it improves the atmosphere.
.
The atmosphere would have been toxic at Palace if we had lost. As it was at Southampton, no-one is claiming the 'Allam Out' chants improved the atmosphere that day.
The atmosphere is always better when the team are seen to be having a go, and it gets better the better we play and the more goals we score.
Not how loud a protest is.

We are discussing Allams philanthropy and altruism as seperate to his ownership of Hull City here aren't we as I thought we broke even on the £68M TV money and the Allams dont need to inject additional funds now, indeed they draw interest on their gift er sorry loan dont they? Sorry but this isn't 2010 anymore and our eternal gratitude is being stretched to breaking point.
