Looking at your posts is like looking into a toilet bowl, you are asking me to select a turd?

Which particular turd are you talking about, they all look the same to me

Who's playing dumb. Quite the opposite. Those groups you've mentioned that supposedly vote based on some misguided collective sentiment towards race, religion or sexuality have proved to be naive and often exploited. The same for the UKIP vote over the last 10 years. I'm afraid it's you who's missed the point of my post. When I compared that poster to the black equivalent to the UKIP's appeal to the working class white man (if it is targetting the disinfranchised), then it only serves to appeal to their ignorance and bigotry. You seem to think that doesnt matter. As I said, if you want to engage the disinfranchised, do so by engaging them on issues that matter to them and deal with their day to day lives, regardless of (not because of) their race or religion or sexuality. You seem to have a pretty low opinion of people. That comes through in your posts. But people do have a little more worth than you're giving them - even black people you'll be surprised to learn. And they are more than capable of seeing the benefit of voting if they are engaged properly on things that matter to them.

Since when did minority groups 'pool their votes'?

What has race colour or creed got to do with an individuals vote?

    This kid is a tool

Oh and Sol being Sol, a ****ing Tory, lol, the irony of that has escaped the knob rash spouting off I see <laugh>

Bit rich coming from you. You bowled in with an insult on post #4, with an argument when there wasn't even anything to argue about at that point. Every subsequent post has simply set out to contradict, and inflame the situation.
If you were seriously concerned about race relations, then I'd expect you to understand that your attitude does absolutely nothing to improve them- or even contribute to any meaningful debate.
You ought to be ashamed for trying to use such a serious and sensitive issue as a cheap point-scoring exercise.

First of all, paragraphs are your friends, not your enemy. You made reading your post an unnecessary chore. So I will not only respond to your post but I will also aid you in what you initially negated to do.
Misguided collective sebtiment? You mean actually taking the politicians to task on issues that effect them? Whether you choose to accept it or not, every person and group have their own interests. This usually pertains to economic issues (as well as social, religious etc,)

If the LGBT community feels the government are not doing enough to create deterrents towards homophobic attacks, would it not stand to reason that they therefore have a common purpose to pool their votes together? Or even campaigning for marrisge. Is it misguided that they put pressure on the government as a group rather than individuals?

That isn't "misguided" as you so eloquently put it, it's called having power in numbers.

No, I didn't miss your point. It was just an extremely poor and lazy analogy. Encouraging black people to register is not the same as a political party trying to exploit people's own racist views and ignorance. If you can't see the difference then I pity you.

How can you engage a group when they have one of the lowest turn outs... Mainly due to the fact that many of them AREN'T REGISTETED. Do you teach a baby how to run before they can even walk?

The irony in your post is astounding. Despite the fact you tried to make me come off as condescending you actually did that yourself (through what your post implies)

But hey, carry on acting dumb. All my posts have been anything but what you've implied.

Just for arguments sake, here are 5 voting groups in America since you're incredulous towards such a concept.

Nah, it shows your morals are in your Keck's and your pious attitude on here to such a sensitive subject is smoke and mirrors.

Any guests or outsiders that may be reading this, this is why race relations tend to be piss poor in England. Notice how the majority of posters in here resort to ad hominem attacks rather than focus on the issue.

As you can see I have tried to stay on topic but the posters here would rather focus on threads made over three years ago and resort to insults.

I've posted facts whilst they can only post insults.
