The Allam's demanded that the Council covered half the cost of building the bubble pitch, along with an eighteen month rates holiday on the entire site(Airco, KC etc), along with a guarantee of planning permission, which was impossible to provide as the council don't control planning department decisions.

The Allam's were basically just taking the piss.

They just need to go. It's beyond desperate. Everything they do is so damaging. They love the attention and go to whatever lengths necessary to get it. Every decision they make whether it's this the ASI money, the wording of every little statement, it's always just a dig at someone. How can these people running our club possibly work when their number one priority is just petty vendettas.

Have Hull City submitted a planning application. If not there's nothing to make a decision on.

No planning application has been submitted, so no decision could be made or was given an opportunity to be made.
Two illegal demands were made of the council, by the club. (Please call it the club,Obi, the Allam's, unfortunately are the club)
they also demanded full rates rest for 18months.

That is the HCC version and it sounds pretty damning. I have just heard the club's statement and it sounds the usual communications nonsense that they spew out. How the hell anyone can cooperate with the owners or his employees is beyond me.

Because constantly, in one form or another, supporters are feeding the monster and this is just one of the consequences.

Very sad state of affairs.

There is clearly no concessions in anything at all with Assem Allam, yet I'm happy to see that most people realise how ridiculous that is, how wrong his methods are, and how at the very least he should not be allowed to simply bully people without being fought.

Nothing will get better at Hull City until he's gone, so let's hope that's soon and let's not be confused about the type of man he is, or anyone's ability to hold any sway with him. There is no point trying to convince him of anything, ever.

Allam Out.

Let's hope the media take him to task on this, for once.

As it seems he's driven ahead and, as predicted tried to shift the blame onto the Council, is there any indication, perhaps from previous examples, on how this is liable to affect the assessment?

I'd guess the league officials are unlikely to be impressed at being dragged into something like this.

An independent assessor will come along and check the application and related facilities and either it meets the criteria, or it doesn't, they won't concern themselves with anything else.

Clearly, but as the assessment needs to show a continuation of use for one, could that be a grey area?

Does the assessment look at issues with community groups protesting, or the working arrangements with Council's and landlords?

He's shown before, he doesn't always pay due consideration to the full requirements in issues and tries to bludgeon his own versions through.

The Council aren't going to do anything, the pitch is laid, the protesters no longer have any chance of reversing anything and the club have a fifty year lease on the Airco, there's nothing there to affect the assessment.

Would Brady have written dont?

To be fair if what was said is true then Allam has just been a **** again as Brady cannot ignore requirements and Allam is fully aware of that. Yet some dumb people will still defend Allam and accuse people critical of his actions as being anti-Allam and indulging in a witch hunt. Eh, Happy?

The Allams knew the council would play politics and do **** all and delay. No time. They get things done, the council dont.

The criteria includes the security of tenure.

What are the likely implications if the Council said they had their legal team looking at several issues associated with the lease? They don't have to actually find anything, or perhaps not even look, but the timescales could be enough for something as simple as that to cast doubt.

If anyone's playing politics here, it's the Allam's, the things they've demanded are utterly ridiculous and we're only requested in the full knowledge that they couldn't possibly be provided.
They're all playing politics.

Lets hope they look at building some outdoor 3g pitches on the outdoor pitches next.
