I wonder if he's approached the Council with this before and been knocked back? As it is now, if it doesn't go ahead, he could argue it's the Council blocking the club and evicted people.
I get the impression you like being angry all the time. That's really not healthy. You should seek help.
Are they seeking planning permission for a new development sometime between now and Tuesday? Good luck with that.
Whatever Alan Johnson did seems to have done the trick. Wonder if the council writing to the Premier League had any bearing on their U-turn. Well done whoever it was that's convinced them to allow a delay on the pitch build. It's great that by giving Allam his own way yet again, the situation looks like it might be resolved. Doesn't change the fact that when he doesn't get his way he's an absolute ruthless ****. There'll be another time when he doesn't get his way, and once again someone will be made to pay.
Be interesting to see how long it takes to get planning permission, plus there's more than an outside chance of objector's, hope it work out for all the party's concerned.
It could possibly fall within permitted development. They could also start work and mitigate measures as and when they arise. as the application is being processed.
The plan four or five years ago was to build a 3g dome over the water based astro turf pitch which is used for 6 a side footy and hockey but it never materialised. I forget why. They should have gone ahead in my opinion. I know the hockey teams complained at the time that they would have nowhere else to go. The sand based pitch and the water based pitch at the kc; and the pitch at Hul Uni I think are the only pitches left in Hull suitable for hockey. They only build 3g or 4g pitches at Schools now. The one at Endeavour High is rotting away nicely. That all said, the sand pitch at Uni is massively under used. Could the just build on that wasted grassed space between the North stand and the current pitches?
No apology from me, no over reaction either. As I have said previously. Hull City needed a tenancy agreement valid for a year. With Hull City Council saying the SMC couldn't grant a tenancy under the terms of the lease the application was always likely to be rejected. I wonder if Hull City Council are putting their hands in their pockets towards the costs. After all Assem Allam did say if they built an indoor pitch the Airco Arena would be free for community use.
E.T.C sports:- "Football Hockey Combination surface This is a 3G multisurface that is ideal where the client wants to play football and hockey. It is a 40mm pile sand and rubber field surface laid on a 15mm shock pad".
If it was "permitted development" they wouldn't need to make a planning application although they may have to satisfy certain restrictions and also building regulation approval would have to be considered.?
