I doubt it. Chester, Robertson, Dawson, N'Doye will be the ones to leave. There'll be a few who we'll need to get rid of.
He most probably was. I wouldn't say we mean nothing to them. After all Steve Bruce managed them and now manages us. In his last season against Sunderland he complained about some of the referring decisions that went against them and from the 5 minutes on MoTD I thought he had a point. However as we know its the other 85 minutes that determine whether you win, lose or draw. Steve Bruce on his sacking from Sunderland: "I just think the owner saw the hatred that was directed towards me from the terraces and thought I would never recover from it. Even if I had won the next six games some people would never have forgiven me for being a Geordie." I think that excuses one or two fairly mild comments from some Sunderland fans.
I didn't come on to be offensive, all of this because I made what I thought was a fair comment about Bruce's track record as a manager. Especially his strong starts and then weak finishes to a season, he's got form for it. People are way too touchy.
What you talking about? If you mean me laughing at an old man on an internet forum (with your fellow supporters) for offering to have fights in Southampton, is me winding him up! Fair enough
By the time we get into May I can see both WBA and Newcastle joining in the fun. Newcastle esp;ecially look dire now. To think we lost 4 points to them as well. ggrrrrrrrrr.
Both could finish the season without getting a single additional point and would probably still be fine.
That's not what the lads at the snooker club were saying. Do you really mean to challenge their wisdom?
Mourinho is a case in point - if a player wants elsewhere he sells.. Ibrahimovic was offloaded to Barca as sson as he expressed interest. Mourinho still won everything with an Inter team that was not the best in Europe technically but they all played for José.
Some interesting fixtures this week Villa v QPR on Tuesday On Saturday it's Southampton v City Sunderland v Palace Spurs v Villa Burnley v Arsenal And Sunday QPR V Chelsea Hard to predict what is going to happen.
Villa V QPR is a very interesting one. I guess a draw is the best result for us. Sunderland will probably go and beat Palace, leaving us to fight out with Villa to not drop down into the bottom 3. Hopefully Spurs, Chelski and Arsenal do the business for us.......I hate it having come to the point were we are praying for results.
Unfortunately that's what we're left with hoping others do us a favour. I can see our goal difference disapearing soon starting at Saints this week
Anyone who thinks Palace away will be anything easy in the search for the 6 points we need is sadly deluded. They are well-known for ripping up scripts even when they don't need anything (Liverpool 3-3 last season), and now 1-0 up vs Man City
This season, of the 14 home games Crystal Palace have had, they've won 4, drew 3 and lost 7. This'll be their 5th home win of the season (they're now 2-0 up).
They look a miles better well organised team to what we do. I don't think Bruce could get this level of performance out of our team
Palace continuing their form of penalties (lots given to, few given against) with a blatant handball ignored by the linesman.
