Whatever happened to the Senior Citizens Party? And I don't mean ER being away for the weekend.

Here's everyman Nige getting a richt guid Scots welcome:
I was going to vote Green but that's a waste of my time and some poor ****er at the polling station

This is why the whole election system in the UK is flawed. Let's say for example the Green Party get 5% of the votes throughout the country, will that mean they get 5% of the 600 odd seats in parliament so about 30+ seats? No chance.
The fact they have to win a whole constituency makes it almost impossible for smaller parties to get a foothold in parliament.
As people like yourself look at those parties and realise your vote will likely be wasted. If though you knew your vote would be guarenteed to add to the number of Green MPs in parliament then I'm sure you would vote for them.
If 5% of the country vote for them then they should have 5% of the say in parliament. Which at the moment they clearly won't![]()
They do in forward looking countries like Jockland.
So 44% of Scotland is independent now?
square goIf twenty parties contest the election, and each of them get 5% of the vote, then most likely the Greens would get 5% of the seats, which I think is really unfair.
You appear to be struggling with the complexities of electoral systems. I suggest drinking car battery acid. It wont help but would be highly amusing for any onlookers.

The only poll Miliband topped was likely the biased Daily Mirror poll. He didn't top the general polls.
Bookmakers paid out on Nicola Sturgeon as the winner so she won most of them. As a whole though the polls where very inconclusive, which is a big negative for Cameron and Milibands performances as both are the leaders of much bigger party's than the rest. Farage was more than competitive finishing joint top of some of the polls, despite the politically correct brigade amongst them likely showing no support for him.
I agree not all immigration is bad immigration, but so much of it is.
The country is full up now anyways
we are far to small in Island to have 70 million people here.
If we are going to allow immigration it needs to be in exceptional circumstances. We can't continue to let everyone in. As there clearly isn't enough wealth here to go around.
There is a lot wrong with the freedom of foreigners moving around, it means us tax payers are open to paying the hospital bills of the rest of Europe. It also means our wealthare system will be exploited.
All Labour and Conservatives do is blame each other, as you are blaming the Tories as a clear labour supporter. Though I think Labour are the biggest culprits as the country began to go down hill when Tony Blair and Gordon Brown ran the country. Even Ed Miliband admitted that they made massive mistakes last time when he was in the cabinet, when Nick Clegg accused him of crippling the economy. Which is ultimately true.![]()
You really do need to do your research on these issues.

Perhaps you might persuade someone who is thinking of voting for them not to but it seems all you and your little mate are capable of is childish insults. Grow up.Why would anyone want to "contribute" to a debate about UKip? A party led by a 2nd rate Enoch Powell wannabe? A party where most of their candidates are forced to stand down or quit because they're bigoted, racist, misogynistic arseholes who post their bile on Facebook, twitter etc. without even having the sense to realise the consequences of doing so?
Ya ****.
Que?...
Labour did indeed make some massive mistakes, but the fact remains that just before the Tories took over, we had a budget surplus, a wage increase in real terms and higher living standards than we do now. Blair and Brown made some controversial and poorly-judged decisions, particularly the former, but none were as bad as the odious creature that is David Cameron.
