VOTERS in England last night found themselves terrorised and seduced by a medium sized Scottish woman.

As SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon was released across the UK, English viewers of the election debate said they found her deeply threatening ‘but in a good way’.

Jane Thompson, from Hatfield, said: “She’s a combination of Suzi Quatro and Sir Alex Ferguson. But I understand that all Scottish women are exactly like that.

“Noisy, efficient and utterly merciless.”

Julian Cook, from Finsbury Park, said: “She’s strong like Thatcher, but with a human touch that says, ‘I’m going to let you live, but on my terms’.

“She will now conquer us because we are led by M&S mannequins that don’t even have heads.

“But I think Sturgeon’s will be a mostly benign dictatorship and I have no objection to adopting vile Scottish habits if that becomes the law.”

Strange thing is I liked what she had to say. What I dislike is the fact that she still wants to break up the country.

What on earth are you talking about? Miliband topped the polls last night!

No-one is saying we shouldn't. But if foreigners come to our country and are making a valuable contribution to our society, which they are doing as all the statistics will show you, why should we shun them away? We have so many other problems at the moment, immigration is a non-issue.

We are in debt because of the inefficiencies and corruptness of the Conservative government who have done nothing to penalise the bankers and people in the financial sector who were responsible in the first place for this entire mess. Instead they've been rewarded with fat juicy bonuses. Why not voice concerns about this rather than dishing around money in world aid, which, if you didn't realise only covers 1.4% of the government's budget?

That is absolute nonsense. Typical fear mongering from the far right.

That is because of the austerity measures undertaken by the current government, not because of immigrants.

We don't allow everyone in. Have you even seen the Conservative party's policies on immigration and how they've handled it? What is so wrong with freedom of movement of foreigners, by the way?

There has been very little evidence to suggest that immigration has caused wage compression. Instead it is exploitative business owners and multinational corporations who the Conservatives have given all the power to that have used immigration as an excuse to justify the poor wages being dished out to employees.

And put it this way - if someone from another country who can barely speak English can take 'our job', I think that says it all really.

It's funny that Farage talks about immigration in the UK so much, yet fails to bring up the fact that more Britons living in other EU countries take out more in state benefits compared to the foreigners that come to the UK. Why is it one rule for 'us' and another for them?

For the record, I don't subscribe to the mantra that Farage is racist - after all, he has a German wife (which makes his anti-EU stance even more bizarre) - I just think he is wrong on a lot of issues and he is proving that with his ignorance and arrogance.

The only poll Miliband topped was likely the biased Daily Mirror poll. He didn't top the general polls. Bookmakers paid out on Nicola Sturgeon as the winner so she won most of them. As a whole though the polls where very inconclusive, which is a big negative for Cameron and Milibands performances as both are the leaders of much bigger party's than the rest. Farage was more than competitive finishing joint top of some of the polls, despite the politically correct brigade amongst them likely showing no support for him.

I agree not all immigration is bad immigration, but so much of it is. The country is full up now anyways, we are far to small in Island to have 70 million people here. If we are going to allow immigration it needs to be in exceptional circumstances. We can't continue to let everyone in. As there clearly isn't enough wealth here to go around.

There is a lot wrong with the freedom of foreigners moving around, it means us tax payers are open to paying the hospital bills of the rest of Europe. It also means our wealthare system will be exploited.

All Labour and Conservatives do is blame each other, as you are blaming the Tories as a clear labour supporter. Though I think Labour are the biggest culprits as the country began to go down hill when Tony Blair and Gordon Brown ran the country. Even Ed Miliband admitted that they made massive mistakes last time when he was in the cabinet, when Nick Clegg accused him of crippling the economy. Which is ultimately true.

Nope I agree with Nigel Farage, and it's refreshing to finally have a politician with the balls to say the truth getting some support.

Many will wrongly brand him a racist, but if he's a racist then so are the large majority of other country's across the world. As no other country accommodates immigrants like we do.

The HIV comment may have upset a few, but it isn't my job or anyone else's job as a taxpayer to foot the bill for non nationals treatment who haven't paid a penny into the NHS.

It is what this country needs for a politician like him to get some power in parliament. And judging by the support for him on here, and in the polls he is beginning to gain some serious support

Correct.

Farage and UKIP are the future for everyone in this country.

Good to see that there is at least one lefty who can contribute to a debate about UKIP with some counter-arguments rather than the usual pathetic name-calling.

Why would anyone want to "contribute" to a debate about UKip? A party led by a 2nd rate Enoch Powell wannabe? A party where most of their candidates are forced to stand down or quit because they're bigoted, racist, misogynistic arseholes who post their bile on Facebook, twitter etc. without even having the sense to realise the consequences of doing so?

Ya ****.

Chum, Chum, Chum they cry, in that traditional Gaelic geeting.

I don't like UKIP

Some stuff they say makes sense but I like the Tory plan to stop immigrants being able to claim benefit for four years after their arrival, stopping them sending child benefit to their own country for kids who don't live here. Plus sending them back if they don't get a job after a year. That in itself will stop a lot of benefit migrants . Thusly shutting up all the xenophobic idiots.

The ony thing I would like to see happen is closing tax loopholes for big businesses. If they get sewn up their wouldn't be the need to make such cutbacks in welfare etc.

Good luck with the Tories doing that <ok>

I'm surprised you're not a UKIP voter tbh.

A total fantasy, it will not pass EU law. Who is going to send them back? We do not even send illegals home never mind EU legals.
