I thought Farage did really well tonight. You have to admire someone for going against the grain and saying what most are to scared to say. Which was ultimately the truth.

Immigration is the route cause of so many things that are wrong in this country, so his party will be getting my vote

I'm hoping and assuming that this comment was tongue-in-cheek.

Nope I agree with Nigel Farage, and it's refreshing to finally have a politician with the balls to say the truth getting some support.

Many will wrongly brand him a racist, but if he's a racist then so are the large majority of other country's across the world. As no other country accommodates immigrants like we do.

The HIV comment may have upset a few, but it isn't my job or anyone else's job as a taxpayer to foot the bill for non nationals treatment who haven't paid a penny into the NHS.

It is what this country needs for a politician like him to get some power in parliament. And judging by the support for him on here, and in the polls he is beginning to gain some serious support

He's a vindictive little racist whose solution to every problem is to blame foreigners. He'll win a large section of the bigot vote away from the conservatives, but has no appeal beyond that limited demographic. Most people can see UKIP for the barely sane rabble of hateful weirdos that they really are.

You'd have to be some sort of **** to vote UKIP. There are a lot of ****s about, obviously, but not enough to sustain this nasty little party for long once they have crawled out from under their rock. When exposed to daylight, horrible ****ers like Farage tend to shrivel up like he did last night.

You don't think Farage drinks beer in private, do you?

**** does it for the camera to appeal to the common man. In reality, he's a G&T swigging ex-merchant banker.

Anyone who votes UKip should be put down for the sake of humanity.

Shergar has a lot in common with Farage though. He too is a fat, sweaty, alcholic racist who spouts nothing but garbage.

You are completely deluded if you think he shrivelled up last night, he did very well and the polls agree. And baring in mind these polls are full of politically correct imbeciles like yourself. So to poll what he did was a big achievement for him. The only other candidate that did well was the SNP lady, and she's not likely to be up against UKIP for to many seats. Cameron and Miliband didn't do well at all, they've struggled to poll high scores when they should have the biggest following.

It is not nasty to want to look after our own people, and spend our own money on our own people. Most other country's run this way, and that is the way we need to be.

We are in serious debt, yet we're dishing out money all around the world in aid. Our NHS that only we pay into is free to use for 300,000+ Europeans that haven't contributed a penny to it. There are people being treated in tents put up outside A and E as we are running so low on funds to cope.

Our schools are the same, young British children will struggle to get a decent education if we continue to allow everyone in.

Those who are on low paid jobs are being forced to take home even less money due to immigrants being prepared to work for less than them. And they are then sending the money home damaging the British economy in the process.

Despite what you claim UKIP will continue to rise, as the problem is only going to continue to worsen until a party like theirs gets some power.

Straight out of the BNP manifesto ^^^

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Nothing the PC brigade love more than a racist bigot spouting **** about dirty, HIV-ridden foreign types.

The majority of people who vote for the likes of UKip, BNP etc. are poorly educated, Sun / Star readers who think there are Muslims hiding around every corner waiting to rape their children and convert them to Islam.

Deluded, easily persuaded imbeciles who confuse newspaper fantasy with reality.

What on earth are you talking about? Miliband topped the polls last night!

It is not nasty to want to look after our own people, and spend our own money on our own people. Most other country's run this way, and that is the way we need to be.

No-one is saying we shouldn't. But if foreigners come to our country and are making a valuable contribution to our society, which they are doing as all the statistics will show you, why should we shun them away? We have so many other problems at the moment, immigration is a non-issue.

We are in serious debt, yet we're dishing out money all around the world in aid.

We are in debt because of the inefficiencies and corruptness of the Conservative government who have done nothing to penalise the bankers and people in the financial sector who were responsible in the first place for this entire mess. Instead they've been rewarded with fat juicy bonuses. Why not voice concerns about this rather than dishing around money in world aid, which, if you didn't realise only covers 1.4% of the government's budget?

Our NHS that only we pay into is free to use for 300,000+ Europeans that haven't contributed a penny to it.

That is absolute nonsense. Typical fear mongering from the far right.

There are people being treated in tents put up outside A and E as we are running so low on funds to cope.

That is because of the austerity measures undertaken by the current government, not because of immigrants.

Our schools are the same, young British children will struggle to get a decent education if we continue to allow everyone in.

We don't allow everyone in. Have you even seen the Conservative party's policies on immigration and how they've handled it? What is so wrong with freedom of movement of foreigners, by the way?

Those who are on low paid jobs are being forced to take home even less money due to immigrants being prepared to work for less than them. And they are then sending the money home damaging the British economy in the process.

There has been very little evidence to suggest that immigration has caused wage compression. Instead it is exploitative business owners and multinational corporations who the Conservatives have given all the power to that have used immigration as an excuse to justify the poor wages being dished out to employees.

And put it this way - if someone from another country who can barely speak English can take 'our job', I think that says it all really.

Despite what you claim UKIP will continue to rise, as the problem is only going to continue to worsen until a party like theirs gets some power.

It's funny that Farage talks about immigration in the UK so much, yet fails to bring up the fact that more Britons living in other EU countries take out more in state benefits compared to the foreigners that come to the UK. Why is it one rule for 'us' and another for them?

For the record, I don't subscribe to the mantra that Farage is racist - after all, he has a German wife (which makes his anti-EU stance even more bizarre) - I just think he is wrong on a lot of issues and he is proving that with his ignorance and arrogance.

I can't wait to see the reply to all that...

Good to see that there is at least one lefty who can contribute to a debate about UKIP with some counter-arguments rather than the usual pathetic name-calling.
