This is why the whole election system in the UK is flawed. Let's say for example the Green Party get 5% of the votes throughout the country, will that mean they get 5% of the 600 odd seats in parliament so about 30+ seats? No chance.

The fact they have to win a whole constituency makes it almost impossible for smaller parties to get a foothold in parliament.

As people like yourself look at those parties and realise your vote will likely be wasted. If though you knew your vote would be guarenteed to add to the number of Green MPs in parliament then I'm sure you would vote for them.

If 5% of the country vote for them then they should have 5% of the say in parliament. Which at the moment they clearly won't

You appear to be struggling with the complexities of electoral systems. I suggest drinking car battery acid. It wont help but would be highly amusing for any onlookers.

If twenty parties contest the election, and each of them get 5% of the vote, then most likely the Greens would get 5% of the seats, which I think is really unfair.

Actually it was The Guardian & ICM polls.

On some issues, I did agree with Farage although it was more of a general consensus. However, the main things which his party stands for are reducing immigration, slashing the foreign aid budget and leaving the EU - all of which I disagree with quite strongly.

This has been proven to be incorrect by so many different studies.

    The Economist; http://www.economist.com/news/brita...ce-research-what-have-immigrants-ever-done-us

Studies by the University College London; https://www.ucl.ac.uk/news/news-articles/1114/051114-economic-impact-EU-immigration

Not really sure why these myths keep getting bandied about. You really do need to do your research on these issues.

    Also not true.

Again - this is just simply isn't true. I've warned you about peddling these myths. Stop it.

Do you enjoy being wrong or something? Obviously we should not let everyone in e.g. those who have committed or attempted to commit terrorist activities or those who have been imprisoned for horrific crimes, but we shouldn't nor do we need to limit it to 'exceptional circumstances'.

As for there not being enough wealth to go around - also not true. Today's cash that we see accounts for just 3% of the total money within the economy. Banks have actually increased the amount of money within the economy by 12% over the last 40 years. There is more money and wealth now then there has been in the course of history. The issue is the unfairness of the distribution and the lack of punishment for the tax evaders and selfish bankers who put the money that they were meant to use as a stimulus in the economy into their own dividends for their own greed and self-benefit.

There has been no evidence whatsoever to show this. But since you're persistent in peddling this myth - what about the bills the rest of Europe has to be for our migrants?

    1. I am not a ''clear Labour supporter''. I didn't agree with a lot of the things Miliband was saying yesterday but I would rather have them in power than the Conservatives who have done their best to privatise everything that they possibly can and serve the interests of the corporate companies out there who prioritise profit over everything else.

    2. Labour did indeed make some massive mistakes, but the fact remains that just before the Tories took over, we had a budget surplus, a wage increase in real terms and higher living standards than we do now. Blair and Brown made some controversial and poorly-judged decisions, particularly the former, but none were as bad as the odious creature that is David Cameron.
