I honestly dont see that. The whole thing is a pantomime and I doubt it was anything more to him. Just like Mourinho...no wonder both got on so well. I'm sure the two chuckled over a glass of wine at how much the fans and media lapped up their stringpulling. I've never been offended by Mourhino and consider him a winner, I just dislike his footballing philosophy.
I've never doubted his credentials as a manager(would be daft to do so) but his frailties as a person are evident.
Him telling his adoring press in 2005 he was sending the AC Milan manager a bottle of his best wine to celebrate their victory against us certainly endeared him to us.![]()
