So let's lay this out, there's 14 players left. 3 Italian mafia, 2 Russian Mafia, 1 Serial Killer. So there's 8 towns.

afcftw is proven and has a deputy who as of now is also 100% town.
I'm effectively proven at this point.
The mason grandmaster can still and should recruit, but is at risk of recruiting a mafia unless he recruits someone proven who he can then reveal himself to.

Here's how personally I think we should be going about things (unless the paper has any revelations):
The Vigilante should start shooting, we could possibly get a nice town circle going soon at which point we can just overpower the mafia, we have near 50/50 odds of hitting a bad guy at this stage. I'd suggest the Vigi selects someone from a list provided by @afcftw
The grandmaster should recruit
The journo should follow someone from the same list as the Vigi is kiling from.
The town should lynch an inactive, with goonercymraeg and ValleyGraduate posting a bit more the main two I guess are RHC or magic.

A vigilante should know 3 innocents at the moment, AFC, you and themselves. This means there are 5 unknown town members compared to 5 mafia and 1 serial killer so chances are he'll hit a bad guy, however, if it's expensive to kill and takes out a townie then we could potentially lose 2 tonight and have the vigilante without any money to kill leaving us in the ****ter.

Also need to remember that should the vigilante hit someone that can fight back, he may die himself (I think )

So now we need a list from AFC as you proposed. Funny that, I'm under suspicion from Biscan for seeking AFC's lead <whistle>

Only because no one really needed help on who to vote for last night <laugh>

Yup, if that's the case.

Also, has the serial killer killed anyone yet? If not then does that mean they don't have to actual kill each night?

It says "compulsion", but he could have been arrested or distracted by a prostitute

They did on night 1 but not night 2. i think. Don't know whether they MUST in terms of rules, but certainly the impression was they feel compelled to kill each night.

Random theory: RHC is the serial killer. Serial killer didn't act Day 2 but did Day 1. Only person who voted Day 1 but not Day 2 was RHC.

Everyone piling on Nozzer with no reaction was concerning IMO so my asking for AFC's guidance was more to see if he was happy with it or did he want to try and get someone else (probably Mikey) involved to see if we got a reaction. I didn't say that as I didn't want people to think I was pushing for Mikey to be lynched (because I wasn't). And yes, I completely expect you to jump on this response as further sign of guilt <laugh>

Oh yeah, serial killer did kill night one with his axe...

In that case, if they have to kill each night they must have either been distracted or locked up in night 2?

The serial killer killed Danilo on the first night didn't he? I have already pointed out that the serial killer didn't kill last night and asked AFC if he arrested (or whatever) anyone

Sounds like a further sign of guilt to me :bandit:

That's true.. although quite a coincidence if that's the case?

1 police chief and 2 prostitutes gives 3 options to be distracted. The day started with 16 players. A random choice by the chief would be 1/15. The mafia would not pick themselves or the chief or probably Mikey or whoever they picked the first night who was not the killer, so that's a total probabailty of 1/15 + 2 * 1/10 = 27% chance.

Depending on what comes back from the paper tomorrow morning, wouldn't be against putting a couple like Mafic, RHC & Gooner up together and see if it gets any of them talking and anyone trying to save them

That sounds like as good a plan as any to me. Shake the tree, see if whatever falls out is vaped off his tits and has a broken back <ok>

Anyone have any great insight on the ideal number of people to have in a coin toss to force Mafia action?

It shouldn't be half the players like attempted on day one <laugh>

I'd say three now we're down to thirteen players. We have three known innocents; AFC and Mikey plus the cop recruit that AFC knows. Chose three from the remaining ten, that represents 30% (3/10) of players and a 50% (5/10) chance of having one of the Mafia or Serial Killer involved in the voting. We just need AFC (with assistance from the other two if he wishes) to pick the names.
