One of the funniest things I ever heard was that people already paying for Sky were stumping up extra cash for boxing events. My father-in-law paid for the first PPV fight years ago (I forget who it was), all the while agreeing with me that if people didn't pay then Sky would stop doing it. Murdoch at his best.

Vin
Well we could be doing the same with BBC soon. One of their ideas to reduce the license fee is to have PPV programmes. So say we pay £40 a year license fee, Doctor Who (as a example) would be around £20 for a season. It is not only Sky that do PPV atm anyways it is everywhere. It's not even just TV doing it these days.

Not as weird as you might think.

Studies have shown that people tend to look for partners that share similar facial structures.

One example is a study in which "heterosexual participants rated the attractiveness of a set of faces. Embedded in this series of images was an image of their own face that had been digitally morphed into the other sex. Despite not recognizing the morphed face as their own, participants rated it the most attractive of all."

I've heard of that theory before, but I thought it was a myth or one of those things you hear that turn out to have little truth in. I'd never thought how similar me and my ex looked, it's kinda uncanny, I could be looking at my ex (but with different coloured hair)..... but not surprising perhaps

Pomps - have a listen to the Fable track on the previous page. See what you think.

It's quite good actually, I like it. Definitely can see that it' may have more commercial appeal

That's Top Gear down the ****ter. Assuming this is true I'm not watching it anymore. Sky - please sign Clarkson, Hammond and May up.

I don't watch Top Gear on a regular basis, and nor do I particularly like Jeremy Clarkson as a person, but from what I do see of it, he does seem like the entire programme. No Clarkson, seems like no Top Gear for many.

I think Sky will sign him up.

I'm not saying what Clarkson did was right, but surely him and the producer he allegedly punched could have settled this over a handshake and a pint and moved on. The BBC have just shot themselves in the foot and if they start charging for individual shows they can **** right off.
