Confirmation the BBC are going to sack Clarkson tomorrow. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/11493270/Jeremy-Clarkson-to-be-sacked-by-the-BBC.html
Why are the BBC bothering to continue with Top Gear? Ratings will plummet well below a million and they won't make money on it now. Clarkson has all the rights to Top Gear abroad so they may as well finish it. Top Gear's finished.
Pass, I find him boring. Fair play to BBC sacking Clarkson for punching a guy. But we all know he only got sacked because higher ups didn't like him. If they did they would have covered it up.
They've shown that they don't tolerate any poor behaviour I guess, but I'm inclined to agree. I think this may be damaging for the BBC one way or another.
Yippee. We might see some motorbike road tests again. The other two are motorcyclists. May keeps it largely under his hat, but Hamster used to be a motorbike test presenter. Wasn't bad at it either. Here he is testing my bike's baby brother:
Just having a random look through the news and came across this page from the online Daily Express: http://www.express.co.uk/news/nature/518510/Aliens-do-exist-scientists-find-proof-of-life-in-space Don't pay too much attention to the article [unless you're interested], but have a look down the right side at all the the other headline items. You know, I really think the likes of the Express [ie The Daily Mail] ought to just rename themselves The Daily Frightener.
Oh Tom. What a shocking attitude. What happened to giving someone a chance. Me thinks your reaction is just petulance because someone you like has been sacked for doing something wrong. I like Top Gear a lot, but for once I am going to praise the BBC for having the moral fibre to put commercial reasons aside and show today's modern society that nobody is untouchable.
I agree - and am still waiting for proof of what happened. How come May said it was "blown out of all proportion"? If he punched someone, he should go - I would do the same in a company disciplinary committee if it came to it. And fair play to the Beeb for ignoring commercial reasons. But did he? Or is it just because he's got too big for "them upstairs"? Top Gear won't continue and if Chris Evans (aka the Ginger Twat) takes over, I might even stop watching the BBC out of spite .............
