A Germanwings Airbus A320 carrying 142 people from Dusseldorf to Barcelona has reportedly crashed in the French Alps.
Apparently it is unlikely there are any survivors. Condolences to the families. The French really are not having a good year.
If it's come down in the Alps it would be just about impossible for there to be survivors. RIP to those who have lost their lives and prayers for their families.
Strange one, usually these things happen on take off or landing. Tragic loss RIP who lost their lives
2014 was the safest ever apparently. Hard to believe but that's what some expert in civil aviation has just said on Sky News.
to be fair it didn't have much to do with France - it was a German plane flying from Barcelona to Dusseldorf - Germanwings is part of the Lufthansa Group
That one in Japan when it hit the bridge and landed in a river, I doubt we'd have even heard of that 10 years ago. It only got so much news cos of the incredible footage of it. Werent there a considerable number of survivors too? RIP these in the latest disaster.
My own daughter flew back from Luxembourg on a school trip just last week, I know its illogical but it just makes you feel for them even more.
My niece flies to Spain on a school language trip later this week. Illogical maybe, but I know what you mean. RIP to all who died. Thoughts and prayers to all currently grieving them.
They probably won't be able to pick up Youtube to watch this in the unlikely event anybody is alive, but surely the Alps is easier to access than the Andes so they wouldn't have to eat each other any way
I'd ignore it, if I were you. It'd appear to be Patty's misguided idea of 'sympathy' for those lost. RIP.
kinell Ernie i was hoping for more reassurance than that from you. I'm flying to Tenerife in 12 days and Im bricking it.
