There's a fair amount flying around at the minute. Lest we forget, we've a big game coming up. Let's try to channel it into getting behind the team, and not let the other issues, as important as they are, get in the way of giving our full support to the team during the game. Let's help keep the 12th man on the team sheet and playing for the full 90 minutes.
Hopefully, but I think there needs to be a concerted effort to make sure people actually know the songs that have been sung for ages, while at the same time newer songs are spread quicker so people get them too or things just fizzle out But that aside hopefully peoples strong feelings will at least cause some sense of passion that can be directed to support City and to get under the skin of Chelsea
I think both will happen. I don't think there has been a time that the crowds have ever stopped supporting the team. But after this weeks happenings do you seriously think that a lot of the fans, his customers, are going to sit back and say nowt? If you do DMD, I think you are hoping against hope.
I think it's nailed on that people will make their feelings known about the various shambles going on at the moment, and rightly so. I just hope people don't lose track of the importance of the game itself, or get too involved in arguing with each other.
I'm undecided whether to start a chant of "we are irrelevant" or "we're not irrelevant" Both scan Confusing times
Spot on. Which seems to have happened. I know people like to get there at 2:55 but what if the club could offer something, cheap beer from 1:30 say to get people in and build the atmosphere. Another suggestion would be words of songs on the big screens. Also what about a conductor on the pitch, like at Wembley to get the crowds to sing. Smeone with a sense of humour to poke fun of the West and compete with East and north?
Most ordinary supporters are not really too concerned about your so called ‘‘various shambles going on at the moment’, but go to watch football.
If that was true, there'd be more than a handful of people online constantly and desperately trying to claim it's the case
I don't think that's the case, but each to their own I think most people want the club they support to also be one that operates in a decent way, and treat it's fans like they, and their views, are important to the club....and not irrelevant I personally see "going to watch football" and being a fan of a football club as two distinctly different things.Naturally fans will also watch football, but it isn't necessarily true the other way round.
We (don't) know who we are, we (don't) know who we are, we're probably irrelevant, So we're off to the bar.
Im an ordinary supporter, travelling from the south coast, for home games and am am very concerned about whats going on, so I think you must be one of the rose tinted variety.
Whereas i'd love everyone to sing 90 minutes for City and nothing else, these problems with the club need addressing & if you care it's your right to sing/ protest it. The whole 1904, CTWD was becoming less & less prevelent in recent weeks. People were singing it with less and less gusto. By the end of the season it may have died all together. There;s only one person to blame for the esculation of the animosity coming form the stands.
I expect CTID will have a fair bit more gusto at 19.04 tomorrow and we may well here the odd chant of 'We Are Irrelevant' and other such humorous responses to our owners disrespectful comments. As long as it's just chanting, it will only help the team.
Atmospheres can't be orchestrated (sp) - they just happen. Hopefully Alex Bruce can crunch Costa, fairly, after 30 seconds. Now that would get everyone fired up. I can see us getting something out of tommorow.
There is nothing better than seeing one of our players fully committed to winning the ball and taking a player out in the process.
