Let me get this right, some people are actually ok with the club evicting local sports clubs away at short notice with no effort to help them find a new location? Bollocks if it's for the benefit of the club, decisions like this should benefit the community that the club serves, though I doubt this is a notion that has crossed the old man's mind. The variety of clubs and activities provided no doubt provide valuable fitness and social activities and, who know's, potential athletes who could represent their country. It's vital that this city can nurture people with different talents, rather than putting their eggs in one basket with football. If this decision had been taken the right way with help provided for the evicted clubs, I'm sure there would have been a less critical outlook on this. However, because the actions taken have shown nothing but contempt, people are right to be angry. I don't expect Mr Allam to act like a charity, but he can at least make his decisions with some moral compass.

I reckon he assumed people would accept it as meekly as the east stand evictions were accepted.

At least this time people are speaking up about such a pompous, high handed attitude.

I totally agree with this and believe that now we have an established and well run Trust one goal should be to start increasing the awareness of the 'silent majority' in regards to the true character that is Assem Allam, a man who uses money and power as a means to an end in everything he does.

Then have to sell it to pay the costs if they are 'unlucky' enough in old age to go into a nursing home
    Lucky my arse.

The ACV does cover the Airco Arena, but only if it's sold, a change in the precise way it's used is not covered by an ACV.

As PLT has said, we've already made a statement on all forms of social media.

So you typed all that ****e for nothing.

Sorry to remind you but that when Hull City Council sold off the public telephone company it was the equivalent of a working man winning the Euro Lottery on a triple roll-over week.
That particular huge windfall should have transformed this city for ever, but it didn't.
and the money was mainly squandered.

Well that's clear enough, when the club is sold with the academy at the arena then and only then does the ACV come into effect. Until then the Airco arena is covered by ACV status and the community via the tenants are getting booted out to make way for funding and saleable value for HULL CITY. I am just pointing out that the cost of the 20% you aspire to buying is going up.

I have read your statements of support for HULL CITY

    You're welcome.

I've no idea what point you're trying to make with that gibberish, but we've not mentioned buying 20% of anything.

Are you saying the trust would activate the ACV to buy the stadium with a view to becoming the landlord to HULL CITY? independently of anything to do with club shareholders?

Some may have had the impression the ACV was dependent on the trust being a shareholding trust.

I am sure you or obi will clear this up for us all, forgive me for thinking this but it does look like a useless piece of paper that has pissed him off and had unexpected consequences.

Do the trust have ambitions to be shareholders of HULL CITY?

I'm not sure if you're pissed, but your last two posts make absolutely no sense.

The Trust has an ACV in place so the fans would be notified immediately if there was any potential sale of the stadium, it's standard practice for all trusts.

I doubt the the Allam's are pissed off about the ACV, it's unlikely to ever affect them and it certainly played no part in the Airco evictions.

All trusts have the aim of fan representation on the board of their respective clubs, ideally also with a shareholding.

For those that don't know the protest has been cancelled to allow more talks with the club. Hopefully we'll see a solution suitable for all.

Whoosh. You are not not the brightest one on the planet, are you?

Will you be forming a rival trust by any chance? There could be a groundswell of support out there, give it a go, you know you want to!
