Why isnt this fans funding ticket funding ****storm being picked up by the media? This should be a national story, never mind local one yet nobody will touch it. Werent the rules on this and why it was being given to clubs really ****ing clear?

I'm actually starting to hate my own football club. Forget David Lloyd, The Sheffield Mafia, Duffen's financial tomfoolery or Fish Out, these past few weeks are the lowest point of my football fan career. Allam is the worst owner in our history and probably anyone else's history.

So we've subsidised away fans for some games at the KC but not our own fans ?

Is that due to incompetence or sheer contempt ?

I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's being spent on a large grass carpet, with the "away" aspect being covered by getting multiple sports teams/groups "away" from the Airco arena.

The final prices have not yet been signed off, so we didn't get precise details, but the season price increase is going to be minimal(an inflationary sort of increase), there is also going to be some sort of loyalty scheme, so renewals will be cheaper than new season pass holders.

The matchday ticket prices will also not change significantly, though there will not be any £50 tickets, nor will the cheapest tickets be £16.

There will probably also be changes to some of the age/price bands, though these were not completely agreed yet.

The way I heard it none of this stuff was final, but pretty much agreed.

Can they not grasp the fact the fund is for the fans of Hull City ?

Technically, it's not, it's to encourage more away fans to games and clubs can either use it to encourage their own fans to travel to away games, or to get more away fans to travel to their home games. Though if you're a club that's just pissed off the majority of your fans, it's probably a good idea to concentrate on giving them the benefit.

Ok get that now.

So how many other clubs have spent money on City fans attending away games ?

Has any other club not used money for it's own fans and instead spent it on subsiding opposition fans to visit their ground? Weird isnt it, most clubs prefer it if they have overwhelming support in the stadium for their team rather than the opposition....

None.

The only benefit we've seen from the ASI money so far is discounted travel to Arsenal, but we didn't actually tell anyone we'd discounted it.

I'm sure something will be done for Palace or Spurs(possibly both), but it's still too little too late.

He's probably trying to buy away fans into the hull tigers theory, hoping they'll jump on board with him and convert into home fans.

Have you been in our away end recently? There's Hull Tigers propaganda all over.

I've never been in our away end and I havent set foot in our stadium this season.

That's the first time since the age of 6 that I've been able to say that. Thanks Allam.

I haven't been in this season but I was last season for the Liverpool game, and everywhere was covered with Hull Tigers stuff. Was more like a home end than the home end.

I didn't understand all that stuff about Trip Advisor and having looked today on Trip Advisor, I understand it even less.

It probably relates to this.

Putting myself in the shoes of a megalomaniac who is working in the best interests of the shareholders, it makes sense. Income generated from extra City fans travelling away? - £Nil. Income generated from extra away fans travelling to the KC? £000s. Kerching!

Potential hidden ignored costs from reducing team's performance at away games due to lack of support and increasing opposition team's performance at home games due to extra support? £70m. <doh>

Chance of getting "lost" home supporters to come back post-relegation under your watch? Negligible.

Business value tends towards zero. Verdict? Sell now for maximum return before you lose your shirt and you leave behind a liquidated football team (much as you effectively found it).

We get money from the away fans coming to us and from home fans travelling away, the take is split, something I've only just discovered.
