    On what basis?

The basis that his CV includes managing Holland, Belgium, PSV twice, Zenit.... Aye, ****e jobs.

We need experience surely, we've ga,bled and lost on the last 2.

****ing hell gonads Jozy was a world beater in Holland and we saw how that worked out the past is the past and advocaat has no future as a manager in football maybe a dof at psv or somewhere like that but not I repeat not as a manager his time is gone

I'll second that - Advocaat I know nothing about but that doesn;t mean he's not capable.

Managing and Playing are 2 totally different things - Mourinho was managing Porto before coming to Chelsea - not exactly cream of the crop league Portugal is it? If you can manage and you command respect then that'll do for me

Advocaat would be a good short term appointment for you. Has experience in Britain with Rangers and he's a good man manager by all accounts. He was unlucky in his last job [Serbia].

I know what you mean, but it's clear we need someone who is available until the end of the season, when we will probably go for Allardyce.

Personally, only one man for it and it's McClaren, that's where we need to go. He makes players better, he's a phenomenal coach.

we need someone to come in for the remaining 9 games.

What other manager, who isn't currently employed, would you bring in ?

We would have to pay a fortune to pull anyone out of a job now, plain and simple.

We need to be realistic, someone like a Pulis, and Allardyce who we would previously have scoffed at is exactly right in what we need. It's gotta be McClaren for me though, I'm 100% on this.

I know he said he was settled at Derby, good club, but his eyes would light up at this I guarantee it.
