The other one is would it be possible to open the gate into the West Stand to use their concourse facilities? It's far too cramped in the North as it is for food and drink and the toilets at half time, as well as there been hardly any space to stand with your pint. If it was opened out it would be much more comfortable for everyone.

I suggested exactly this at the last meeting, they seem overly concerned about people not returning to their normal seats, or trying to sneak into the Premier Club, I think they're worrying unnecessarily and I'll be raising it again.

You may like to ask why the club do not answer emails. I was in dialogue with James Mooney about the segregation of away fans and E4 and he did reply to tell me that he had handed it to the safety committee who would contact me on this matter. I heard nothing and emailed James to say so. No reply. Is this what we should expect?

I can see it might be a concern but the experience at half time in the North Stand is crap - unless you leave before half time there's next to no chance of getting served and having a pint before the second half kicks off.

Just need to put up a set of railings. That is all there is at Reading.

Cheerleaders and goal music. Been to a few grounds with them and it really enriches the general match day experience.

<laugh> Turning into Hattie?

Just as a side issue, they play goal music at Hull United and they really really shouldn't, it somehow seems even worse in a small ground.

They play Blur's Song 2, if anyone was wondering.

Though I doubt they were. :emoticon-0112-wonde

It should be actively encouraged. They live longer without all the heart disease n **** ergo longer term repeat custom.

That's the last thing the world wants.

Loads of senile old codgers cramming up the planets surface, wasting all its resources, whilst their new found reason for existence is in the battle of which chair belongs to whom or what to watch on telly.

I'm liking people's posts to acknowledge the question and also to remind myself I've noted it down, in case anyone was wondering. Though I doubt they were.

Good man, when you liked mine it crossed my mind that you thought it a joke.

After the meeting has passed, would you be willing to remove the likes you only placed as a reminder?

I only ask because they are undeserved likes, skewing the likes received figures, and giving extra creditibility to a poster and whatever he may post in the future.

I know it's only one or two in this case, but they all add up.

Absolutely. Plt will take Kemptons off definitely. I give him most of his likes and they're only sympathy likes.

I would except that, and I maybe should have mentioned this in the first place, I do like that people are raising ideas. Some of them I even agree with. The likes are arguably fully deserved.

You should be more tolerant, after all, it's not as if it would happen that often, is it? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Can we change the music when the teams are read out? We've had the same one for years and it sounds really, really camp. Especially when it starts making that whooping noise and the old people start clapping. Get a song that's going to get our fans going, not one that makes them think they're in a German discotheque.

It's very Mr Motivator.

The old people clapping along image just made me laugh out loud. I've never witnessed it but don't doubt you for a second.

Maybe he has had no reply on it or maybe it has slipped his mind? I can say with every appropriate email I've sent to the club I've received a prompt reply to
