    Yes we're a disgusting bunch aren't we ........

"They are planning even more vocal support for the suspended star at their next home game, a relegation battle against Aston Villa."

Fancy that, supporting a Sunderland lad who hasn't been charged with any offence <doh>

I think all Sunderland fans should be banned from attending football matches on the back of such a disgusting atrocity!!

Absolute joke - and I said the same on their newspaper page. I will sing my heart out for AJ as long as he has not been found guilty before next Saturday (which I don;t think he will be at all)!!

Supporters have even dreamed up one disturbing rhyme linking it to Madeleine McCann.

Others have tweeted an X-rated version of the club song: “Who put the ball in the Geordies’ net?” Johnson, 27, was arrested on Monday on suspicion of sexual activity with a 15-year-old supporter who had asked him for a signed club shirt.

Fans are also sharing footage of supporters chanting Johnson’s name during Sunderland’s midweek draw with Hull.

They are planning even more vocal support for the suspended star at their next home game, a relegation battle against Aston Villa.

Johnson is on bail until March 18 but the police probe could rumble on into the summer.

That will mean Johnson will not be available for a string of vital clashes.

Johnson was released on police bail pending further inquiries after being questioned for several hours.

He has not been charged with any crime.

Wtf? Where's this footage then? That Rag is disgusting! :emoticon-0121-angry

Half of the media has already found him guilty despite a total lack of evidence.

I'll be at the match, will sing his name and explain why to anyone who 'rolls their eyes'.

Daily Star is a joke but I'd still never vocally support the lad, before knowing if he did it or not.

Ched Evans has been through the mill on a charge and imprisonment that's hardly cut and dry. There's every chance this guy is going to get the same and a lot worse.

You'd have to know something very concrete to support him in my view, and as far as I can see on here, nobody does, correct me if I'm wrong.

The only stance I'd take as a fan would be to hope he hasn't done it and show him support when he's found not guilty.

Some of you'll disagree with this, I know you will Smug but it's just my opinion, I'm not claiming you're wrong and I'm right, just saying it how I see it personally.

You're quite right, it's a personal matter. I just hope there are no serious 'fall outs' at the Villa match.
I'll stick up for myself and my right to support someone who hasn't even been charged ........ I'd support him if he was my brother.
As long as people at the game remember that, there shouldn't be any fighting.

BTW, you misread the Gutierrez comment you prat <ok>

Well, because of the Daily Start, I think we shojld all sing "Adam Johnson, is a *****" on Saturday and completely vilifile him until the verdict! Guilty until proven innocent I say <sarcasticsmiley>

Terry - FWIW I will completely support him in an "innocent until proven guilty" way - we all know that if he's found guilty then he will be finished in football completely.

When you look at the evidence so far presented it will be amazing if he's found guilty!

    I know I did.

I'm surprised you didn't have them crawling all over you for that, although it was QWOP who's a top lad, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

They've crawled less and less with every derby defeat fella, they just bitch about us over on their own board now. Little ***gots. They lost a few derbies and their anonymity in abusing people and it's led to them losing their balls too. They'll be over there, some of them, calling AJ a **** while munching on a child rapist's pasty. <doh>

Disagree, Terry. Innocent until proven guilty, like Marcus says. Need something concrete not to support him. If he's found guilty, that's when it all changes.

That's fine mate, he is innocent until proven guilty technically for sure. As are all criminals at one point.

Everybody on the support him/don't support him sides have their right to do what they like without being persecuted after the verdict in my opinion.

Using powers of deduction, if he hadn't done anything at all, he'd have proven that by now with an alibi. It's unfair on him to drag it out if he can immediately disprove the allegations with an alibi, which is why I said, there's a definite grey area.

it's possible he has an alibi - also likely he's been instructed not say anything

These things never get cleared up in 2-3 days though. Doesn't matter if he has an alibi or not. The police have to be seen taking their time treating these allegations seriously, especially when its someone in the public eye, so theyre not going to rush in clearing someone, even when there's a bone fide alibi available.
Also, from the police's perspective, they allow a period of time hoping for other women to come forward to strengthen their own position and to weaken the accused.

    Well I'll tell you this.
Had it been a Pakistani gang grooming 10 year old girls to service their 95 cousins cocks they would be granted anonymity.
**** the law, god forbid the police upset race relations.
I mean, that's far more important than protecting kids.

Not from my experience pal. I don't know your background but when I worked intel for vice, they had the accused cleared in hours if the accused provided a stonewall alibi.
