For me; Robertson is one of the most exciting players we have had for a long time. Whenever he has the ball running forward; I have hope that something is going to happen. He needs to work on his final ball but as a team we need to work on taking more gambles that a final ball might actually be really good and have someone ready to tap it in rather than standing back for the pull back and watching it flash across the box. Defensively he needs to learn that in this league one mistake is often punished; last night he dived in and was left firmly on his arse at the start of the move leading to their goal when he should have held the player up. Brady is safer at the moment but if we need a goal I think he is more likely than most to help provide one just needs to work on those mistakes.
He played well. His crossing needs to be improved, and I would have given Dawson MOTM. He's a great player though; I don't understand some of the criticism on here. Huddlestone and Livermore played well but our midfield provided very little for the strikers. Too many long balls when the ball should be played to the strikers' feet.
how the hell did Robertson get MOTM, he pulled out of tackle in the build up to their goal. I'm sorry but because he runs fast down the left wing, doesn't warrant him MOTM for me! Dawson or Livemore were MOTM today Robertson didn't put one good cross in today!
If anyone's at fault for the goal its Elmo for being beaten quite easily, but he also shouldn't have been 1 on 1 on the corner of our area. Someone should have helped him out there.
Robertson conceded possession far too easily. I just read a thread by Sterling Archer on here pointing out the so-called deficits of Alex Bruce when its issues like Robertsons defensive frailties that need addressing.
MOM tends to be misleading in that it is supporters who vote for who they believe warrants it , not always accurate as we know.
