I wonder whether it's not so much that he's been wiped from history but that there was a concious decision in the club to only talk about the present and future, and that talking about previous regime(s) could get in the way of that. Perhaps in a few years time the club will talk more openly about it.

DTLW, I learnt the other day that it's "toe the line" rather than tow. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toe_the_line .

Not surprised there's no mention of Cortese, serves the club no purpose to talk about him. All they can do is talk about the things we achieved with him running the club and that detracts from building positivity and goodwill towards the new team in charge. That was a crucial mission over the summer and still continues to this day.

I did wonder at the time, if Les would leave when Nicola did. But he remained, despite being a Cortese appointment.

Several ways to look it at I guess, but he's been able to keep his job and suffer no interference in it.

Find it strange Les hasn't mentioned Nicola, but then perhaps that is in order to tow the line with Kat and Ralph.

Someone had a moan to Katharina about Nicola...I always thought it might be Les Reed. Les may have admired NC on many levels, but football knowledge wouldn't be one of them.

Yikes! Noted. Thanks CMFG.

I think Koeman should invite David back for a special guest appearance at a press conference...they could have a giggle and we could see David's latest natty cardigan.

Or someone [that DTLW could do it] with a Twitter account could get onto David and ask him when he's attending the next Saints match..? Then get him with the announcer so that he can interpret for the PA system.

yes, and have Koeman say something in English, with David translating it by giving a completely different response in English as if he was always making up MPs answers anyway.
