Our reasons are a little more justified.

New manager
New to the league
3 weeks with the squad before first game
Massive clear out
More than just 1 player out injured unlike some clubs whp claim the loss of one player hampered them significantly yet dont take to kindly to claims they are a one man team <whistle>
We can all play at that game.
Liverpool:
Loss of top scorer in the league last season.
Long term injury to second top scorer in the league last season.
Half a dozen new players struggling to settle into the team and/or English football.

I'm sure Spurs and others can cite problems of their own. Your reasons are no more "justified" than anyone else's. <ok>

Lets be honest you dont come on the United board bcos you need the support of your livpl numbers around you. At least UIR deserves credit for having the balls to come and argue the toss.
As for the injuries UIR is on about, go back a couple of pages and you'll see Astro saying the same thing about Liverpool. The lack of respect to others is just as rife for the same reasons to most of your lot. The only thing worth laughing at is how much you winge at UIR about the very things most of you also bang on about. Top of the page Astro and you go on about LVG's perceived anti-united stance, but the page before same poster is moaning about refs being against Livpl in FA Cup games. Go figure <laugh>
That's an unfair comment Treble. Got to stick up for mito here, like saint and a few others, he never goes on other boards. He's a free thinking, unique poster who gets more flak from us for his views than support for them <laugh> Come to think of it, we are actually a very idiosyncratic board unlike a few other boards I've visited, where fans seem to hold very general views.

My view is usually the opposite of whoever I'm speaking to :bandit:

Fact is JB, the assertion that we all back each other up and express the same opinion doesn't stand up to the slightest scrutiny.
Any brief look at our board will show that we have a diverse range of opinions and often have distinct disagreements over all aspects of the club.
To lump us all together like sheep is facile and inaccurate.

Perhaps it was but I couldnt understand his reasoning that he doesnt go on there bcos he isnt interested in United whilst he's posting plenty on here about United. <laugh> I know he usually goes against the grain on most things Liverpool but that wont be the case against United which is understandable That was my thinking anyway but following his response to what I said I accept it was probably wrong <ok>

That's not it at all. It's a rival board so regardless of views about your own club most fans will usually back each other when it comes to rival teams. That's the same for any set of fans in the main.

As a rival fans view maybe, but that's simply not the case. We often debate and fall out amongst ourselves. Of course, if a rival fan comes on here spouting some bollocks about our club then the chances are he's going to find he's out numbered but that's only natural. Same goes for any board.

Fair enough, if that was the point you were trying to make. <ok>
However, if it's the same for most fans, there's not much point in singling ours out. It's in the nature of club rivalry, and LFC - Utd is traditionally one of the fiercest. As long as it's all just words, who cares?

The same applies to me - I've never been on the utd board and I never will - doesn't mean I won't talk about utd on here [which I try not to except for general comments because honestly I have little interest in your club except for general views]

mito will go against the grain on utd or any other team if it's his true opinion, I'm sure he doesn't have go against the grain as a default setting - although I could be wrong <laugh>

Don't know about leader but I certainly don't follow <ok>
Well if you're not following anybody you're either a leader or out on your own - and for the purpose were talking about [comments on a footie forum] it depends whether you have views that others share or views that nobody ever agrees with.

I get your point and 'in the main' you're probably right but we do have a set of fans on here who don't follow each other like sheep, as saint rightly said, even in our views on the opposition. For example I quite like Arsenal so I'm more inclined to view them without the bias I have when viewing utd <laugh> I also don't have pre-conceived ideas about a whole set of fans like we get all the time from your fans and Chelsea fans, we're all lumped together regardless of how we behave individually on here. Some rival fans have already made their minds up about you by who you support rather than wait and see if they can have a good discussion or a bit of banter with you.

Matth being the exception to the rule, the utd fans on their board give him more grief than opposition fans.

Yeh I agree. I wasnt singling anyone out for it. It wasnt the point I was making btw but the convo seems to have gone that way <laugh> I was just saying that when having a view about rival teams it's perhaps easier to do it on here (with fellow livpl fans) than on our board and that was probably why he didnt come on there. Before anyone reading this says that's not the case with Mito...I know I know!! <laugh> I went on to also say UIR has enough balls (or thick skin) for going on every club board on here tbh.
