of course it was when you worded it a way that nobody else had similar issues.

I pointed out arsenal have had plenty of injuries and southampton have had a well documented summer and a smaller squad where when their key men have had suspensions or injuries they've not done well.

i don't even need point at our issues in this.

every club has issues of one type or another... you've just been whining.

    Preston v Man Utd

Preston boss Simon Grayson will have to make at least two changes to his side for the visit of Manchester United, with goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and midfielder Daniel Johnson cup-tied.

Jermaine Beckford (ear infection), who scored when Leeds beat United in the FA Cup in 2010, will miss the match.
Manchester United will be without Michael Carrick (calf).

Phil Jones and Daley Blind are also rated doubtful after coming off early in the win against Burnley.

    • This is the seventh time these sides have been drawn together in the FA Cup, with Manchester United progressing four times and Preston twice.
    • This is the first meeting in any competition since February 1972.
    • Preston have won this competition twice - in 1889 and 1938 - and have been runners-up on a further five occasions.
    • Manchester United have won the competition only once this century.

Luvgonzo and DR Says are the only posters tagged as friends with me <laugh>

I think that's not completely true of us. Some are like that but most are sound. We all have the nutters tbf. I remember posting RIP on the Shankly thread and Foredeck threw a hissy fit. If you look at Luvgonzo he usually gets on well on our board. IBWT as well imo. Our board is quiter though which is bollox. Maybe we need a few more livpl wums on there to stoke it up <laugh>

Preston are on a run of 3 wins compared to Man Utd's run of 1. They've also picked up 6 points more than Man Utd so they have the better long term form too. <ok>

Just hope they're still in the game by the time they finish the 6th round draw. Saturday had some great matches, but yesterday was ****.

edit: The BBC say the draw is after the game and the FA say it's before WTF

the draw is on the one show again from 7pm and the game starts 7:30

utd will know who they play before the game...

I'd hope an away tie at the emirates will inspire preston and make utd quake in their boots..... though the record of arsenal v utd i doubt that.

There's no mention of it on the One Show. The game is on BBC1 from 7:30 but kick off is 7:45

The BBC say "Gary Lineker presents live coverage from Deepdale as Preston North End host Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup, followed by the quarter-final draw" but the FA say it will be at 7:35 on their website.

They better sort their timings out or the FA could end up tweeting the results of the draw before the balls are pulled out of the bag.
