I have to say, thats always one thing about Liverpool and United supporters that has driven me crazy.
The way BOTH sets of supporters believe the media, the refs, the BBC, the FA is fully committed to secretly helping the other and shafting them.
Every god damned week United fans "Ref showing Pool bias again and giving them a BS penalty"
Pool fans "BBC Salford come out supporting United again on [insert lame ass story here]"

I find it odd that both sets of supporters firmly believe all institutions are against them and totally licking the ass of the other.....

 

We have no bias for or against us in the media. As many pundits praise us as hate us. Most of them are bitter old has beens who live in the 70s still.

Media bias also helps nobody. We get no extra points.

The bbc salford stuff is hilarious though as the BBC is 80% ex Liverpool.

No I dont single out anyone. I will argue with my own as much as anyone.... just go look on the United board I actually agree with whoever said the one thing Astro never does is hurl abuse. For that reason alone I enjoy talking to him bcos I know the convo will actually go somewhere.

The stuff about the BBC is hilarious. Ofcourse it's all paranoia. Everyone knows there's a large proportion of ex-liverpool players infesting our football screens. A lot of ex-liverpool players go into the media, whereas the same proportion of ex-united players go into football management and coaching. But even if the BBC stuff was true why the hell do you want to get yourself wound up about it by making a thread

 

I used to visit the Man Utd board quite frequently but stopped some time ago as it became very quiet last season

I never took that into consideration. Now that this has been mentioned I have found a new level of repect for him. Maybe Astro is the ultimate WUM? He gets a rise out of rival supporters and he remains civil.
