I'm fast starting to lose faith in him tbh.

The tactics tonight were so wrong to start with. Even my Auntie (who's been to about 3 games all her life) could see PVA was 2 vs 1 for the majority of the first half and that it needed to change.

Yes we need men around Defoe, but not at the expense of a lopsided midfield and leaving us seriously exposed.

If Gus couldnt see it then we really need to ask questions of him and his team of coaches etc.

I would like him to get the boot in the summer to be honest. I'm not sure it's a very level headed or realistic wish but I just don't like that man.

My patience with him is gone. He seems to think we're an impossible situation which nobody could rectify. Wrong Gus, it's your job to fix this and you have had plenty of time and 'no excuses' to get these players to work together and win matches in different situations. Someone said it's not his squad? Yes it is: everyone who started that match was brougt in by him, or given a renewed contract under him, bar AJ maybe.

He takes no blame for putting out a midfield of dwarves against QPRs big lads, and wonders why we get royally humped. Then blames typical Sunderland and the fans again for being out-dated. We want effort, you ****, not a pathetic, limp-wristed first 30 minutes like that. That doesn't mean hoof-ball, we want to keep the ball, but move it quickly to catch the oppo out. And that is your job to fix. If you can't, then **** off. You ****.

Although I'm not as childish as to call him "bridcock", I agree with the sentiments of your first sentence. The second one is just typical keyboard warrior threatening someone he'll never meet!

Why play a poor central midfielder (but good penalty taker) in a left wing role! Thank **** he cost us nothing. He's possibly the worst tackler I've ever seen at the club and possibly one of the slowest players I can remember in both running and speed of thought!

Seriously? I was there and, if not for some world class saves and a number of handball's in the box, that could easily have been 4 or 5-2 to us - we weren't very good but we were certainly not "royally humped" They weren't very good either. I felt sorry for Wickham coming off as he played OK and won just about everything in the second half yesterday. Had a couple of those chances gone in and we'd come back to draw 2-2 people would be saying we'd played well. My mate missed the first half but saw the second on a stream and he has just emailed me saying he thought we played well second half but for some good saves and poor refereeing we'd have got something from the game

It wasn't a 'miracle', it wasn't good management, it was pure fortune that saved us.

At the back end of last season, I had a lot of people trying to force me to accept this 'miracle' theory. I was adamant that the bloke was a benefactor of 'well what have we got to lose now' syndrome, so the players went into the next game with that attitude, got something from the game and the confidence began to fizz.

I started a thread a few months ago also, stating I rated Poyet as a top 5 manager in this league at the time, since then he's went on to point fingers at what I'd say is probably the 2nd best bunch of fans in this league after ours, probably top if I'm taking my United specs off. A good manager doesn't look for excuses and talk to the media, he's lost a lot of credit doing that for me, tactically I still think his intentions with the side would potentially lead to great football but week after week it seems he needs Barca circa 2009's squad to pull it off.

What he's doing off this pitch is unacceptable.

What disappoints me with him is while bringing championship players, Bridcott Buckley and Gomez to the club along with Rodwell ( who has been a disaster) he can't see that he is responsible, its his name on the tin. , all four are ineffective in the Premier League, not physically up to it. He picked this quartet, not Congerton , and got it wrong. If he continues to wind the fans up there will be only one outcome. A couple of decisions/chances go our way perhaps it would have been different, we said the same after Hull, we should be out of sight of these teams at home but aren't. I blame Gus not the supporters on this one. Perhaps if he got selection/tactics right we wouldn't be losing at home by two goals to two very poor teams.

Dear Defoe in a row

It was a very strange game; we lost because of the way we played in the first 20 minutes.

Their second goal came right on the stroke of half time and we didn’t start well, they scored a good goal and we were unable to recover.

When we started going forward we made a lot of good chances but we took nothing from them and QPR capitalised. After that it was a big challenge.

Today, 20 bad minutes, lots of missed chances plus their goalkeeper being man of the match resulted in defeat.

We did have a few good moments in the game, but we know if you have a bad start in the Barclays Premier League and concede the way we did then the rest is a consequence.

We need to make sure that it doesn’t happen again and that we are a better team in many ways.

Bradford is another game that is going to be difficult to play, we will need to adapt a lot and we need to be brave.

The big test is the week after when we play West Brom, that will be an important day for everyone and we need to make sure that we are all better than we were today.

Sorry but why is the big test the week after this week? We don;t have a game to prepare for until the next one is over. Completely disagree and this is totally disrespectful to Bradford IMO. Is Bradford, who beat Chelsea in their own backyard, not a big test Gus?

I know he doesn't have a lot of admiration but Sam Allardyce went the right way about it last season, kept his mouth shut, gave the media nothing and told his players everything when the cameras weren't rolling.

I have a suspicion that if you lot sacked Poyet, you fans would be in for a wall of abuse directed at you from him. That's a very real possibility so be careful how much praise you give him when he gets a win.

Say whatever you want because I don't give a ****. The first half was a disgrace and second was jush huff and puff stuff. Loads of fans walk out at half time, including some of my mates and that says it all.

Now thats hardly goid form granted u only play whats in front of u but good form no. Too many people get to excited quickly one minute poyets the man the next hes ****. For me he's just ****, why leave graham and alvarez out they've been playing well gomez is useless but plays nearly every game we are slow negative and poor. We have a decent squad ( apart from 1 or 2 ) with **** tatics. We will win a few games and may look decent in doing so but generally were useless and its all down to poyet not the fans not the players. When u have better players on the bench than on the pitch it makes u doubt the manager time to roll the dice again.

So who do you want in charge? Realistically of course? I already said McLaren is a cracking shout but I don't think he'd come here - and I also think our fans would turn on him as quickly as they have any others. We need some solidity in the club. I am still (just) behind Gus but my patience is waning. I don;t know any managers who would come here happily. It is better to stick with what we've got than get rid. Ball is not the answer - and our fans would turn on him too (much as them up the road did with Robson).

Simply put - I think it's better to stick with Poyet as there are few better out there at the moment who are accessible

agree with you on that (I was being sarcastic which is dificult to achieve on the internet! ) - if we had played like we did in the second half we probably would have won the game but as I say apparently that's not the total football that he wants us to play - perhaps someone needs to remind him that the objective of a football game is to score and win games
