I thought Caulker had a decent game, but obviously everyone will focus on their goal. He was pushing forward trying to win the game and made a bad pass. He was entitled to expect that he would be covered. What the **** was Isla doing?

Got a feeling that Caulker might be latest scapegoat for people to hit on.....there always has to be a scapegoat, right?
<doh>

Not really. Personally I'd just like players to do their best and concentrate for 90 minutes. Caulker struggles with the
latter.

Like it or not, players with a price tag and reputation like his will be expected to perform. At the moment we've got a prawn cocktail centre-half at steak tartare prices.

No no no!!
What was Caulker doing? Knock the ****ing ball into the corner, keep your shape and see out the game for a hard fought point against the team in 4th place. We are in no position to go all gung ho at that stage of a game against a top 4 side FFS!!

The league position of the opposition is immaterial - I thought they were very ordinary. We needed to win today and that was what Caulker was trying to do.

Liverpool revisited...

Well, we lost instead of getting a point. Naive!! We never learn.

Caulker isn't good enough to be going up there with a few minutes left at 0- 0. He's not really good enough at all like the rest of the defence.

The defence isn't as bad as you're making out Ozzie. Its not great but its not our main problem. The middle of the park has always been our problem. One quality player in there and you'd notice the entire team perform better, defence and attack. Our back line is always under too much pressure.
Think the defene is the biggest problem. Big lack of quality there. It means we need to play more in DCM which reduces our attacking options.

A proper DCM does both Ozzie. He doesn't reduce our attacking options but increases them because as well as protecting the back four, he passes the ball quickly out to the wings (& elsewhere) and sets up counter-attacks. Think along the lines of a Roy Keane. Faurlin might have filled that role for us if he was fit.

I thought Caulker was ok and we nearly kept a clean sheet against a very good side.
I hope we stick with him rather than take a step back again

I've said it all season and I'll say it again -

Caulker is shyt. He is a flower. Dereliction of duty, trots around the field like a girl and can't be bothered to defend.

Get rid.

We should have got a couple of solid young, hungry, un-afraid defenders in during the window, but alas, we're QPR.

Not into insults but FFS mate you are really infected and fickle

Let me make this clear:

A Professiinal DEFENDER in the WORLD'S best football league who had NOT played in 2 matches (with no mid-week matches, either, mind you!) gets a CRAMP ¾ of the way into the match decides to take on the ball in injury time up the field, loses the ball, then CAN'T get back into his own position he's supposed to have been in to begin with (if he had just passed the ball to a team mate up field! <doh>), which leads to us losing the match because he wasn't covering, and his partner CB for the game had been subbed earlier!!!!

NEVERMIND not knowing how to play the CB position all season mistaking himself for an attacking type footballer, how dare he get a cramp after having not played in 2 weeks!!!!!!????? What's he been doing, sitting on his arse all day watching re-runs on streaming of Eastenders???? He should've have been working hard on his own off-time to get fit, stay fit, get stronger and faster and better at his CHOSEN PROFESSION and position , fighting hard to keep his place and NOT to let his team or FANS down!!!!!

Yes, but the way we are at the back it seems we need to play more than 1 or 2 protecting them. Christ we needed to protect Green as well today -he got lost a few times with awful positions and could have let in 2 or 3. He looked like he'did been up all night

Grow up, Dumbo! The sooner you do, you might find yourself a professional one day and realize what an idiot you'd been your whole wasted youth, because one day somebody will find out what you wrote on here and call you out for being an uneducated, useless lout, and you will regret everything you've ever said or done. And it'll be all pear shaped for you, son :emoticon-0136-giggl
