I thought he was great on Sunday. Decent team you've got there even without Bony and Sigurdsson. Good hold up play from Gomis, good movement from Shelvey, Dyer tracked back all game, Williams was quality and no. 58 also seemed decent. Well played.

Very complimentary - not many share your views on Dyer (I like him) and I (some others) aren't convinced by Jonjo (a lot of nothing before a little genius).
58 is Barrow - very fast but still quite new and raw, Williams was world class and Gomis had his best game without scoring.
Good luck with the rest of the season - it would be a shot in the arm for the league if you, or the likes of West Ham, Stoke, Swans could break into the top 4 and, at the moment it you are best placed.

Dyer on Sunday, whilst is distribution & the little attack play he had, was poor. He showed tremendous work rate to help the team defensively..
I agree , his role was more defensive than attacking although he was frustrating again to watch him fail to beat the man on the few occasions he made a run towards their area, especially when you know what he can do

I've no doubt at all that Gomis will be a success with us. He's a very talented player, he's got what it takes to make the very top in my opinion. It's been very difficult for him since his arrival with no regular game time, but he can now settle down and start scoring. Unfortunately for him we have a lot of injuries which doesn't help his cause, and with Siggy suspended doesn't help as they need time to start to gel together. Most seem to be annoyed at what he said in the media which in all probability was taken out of context, now he says he's happy some don't believe him, Huw Jenkins and Garry Monk seem more than happy with him and in all honesty they are the ones that should know.

He is going on 30 I think if he was going to make it to the very top he might have done it by now. He is no more than and average to good player.

it could just as you say probably be what he said as well.

To little to late ffs...What has he really done wrong? We dont know anything about his contract or the reasons he believes took place. Lets all boo him when he runs on to the pitch as that will do a lot of good for the team. gomis is a jack and we should support all jacks if they are representing us. His goal scoring record is second to none so he has the skill to succeed but as in everything you need to feel wanted and while his team mates are showing him loyalty some fans are not giving him a chance...

“I do love to bomb on as a full-back. At Swansea the full-backs are a bit restricted from doing that but at Fulham Kit likes to let you express yourself. That’s what I need - to play games, enjoy myself and show what I can do.” Jazz - maybe Dyer would have to defend less if the full backs were encouraged to move higher up the field.

What's really funny is that when Bony didn't fill his boots early on (despite good all round play and working his bollocks off) he wasn't counted as a "Jack", oh no! According to you he was;

- overweight
- "a carthorse"
- used ineffectively by Laudrup
- wasteful, not a natural finisher you prescribed shooting practice and stuck to this line even into this season. You fool <laugh> )
- cost too much...remember, you don't want us to spend over £10m on a player again? When pushed you stated that you thought £5-8m should be our price bracket). We've doubled our money on him!
- In short, an expensive flop..."£4m a goal!" you used to crow

No, a "Jack" to Dai Twp is someone who (despite having ability) does **** all goal scoring wise, sulks, chucks the toys out of the pram, goes to the press, embarrasses us, tries and fails to force a move (leaving us in the ****) before transparently sucking up to the fans

In short a vain, lazy, greedy sycophant. A near 30yr old striker/mercenary who cost us £8m plus a shed load of wages.

What could possibly be the reason for Dai Twp's stance on this issue
Answers on a postcard please...

Bless him, he is trying to win us back ;)

Win us back? He had every right to be angry. He was brought here to be our number 1 striker but Bony wasn't sold in the summer - so Bafe has been on the bench since August, so I can't blame him for being angry.

Now Bony has gone, Gomis is number one and if his performance last week is anything to go by he should have a good second half of the season.

Let's imagine Kit wanting little Jazz to 'bomb-on' if his team were facing 'Premier league' attackers...

You can be angry but you do it behind closed doors instead of getting your agent to tout around all of Europe. He acted like a spoilt child. I for one couldnt give a **** if he stays.

I thought he was shocking today.

I dont think he was shocking i think he cant play the various systems that we are using and he is taking longer to adjust from his French ways. He played a part in the game and worried their defenders....He will get there im sure...

I agree. I've seen lots of 'lazy' comments but I don't get that at all. He worked very hard today, won a lot in the air, made tackles and played others in. However I'm not convinced he's got an eye for goal or is a natural finisher because he's just not clever enough. Can't fault the effort but needs to work on getting into the box and burying a few. Patience on that side of is game is wearing thin for me.
