Would really need the context in which it was said to judge that remark really.
If it was, "Michael Owen moved to Manchester United, but he is far too good to die in a plane crash" then I could understand the rage
But if he said something like "Michael Owen flys RyanAir? He should be careful, he is far too good to die in a plane crash" then no......
Plane crashes existed before Munich you know, there were many before and many since....
Were United mentioned or implicated in the conversation in anyway, or do you just equate any mention of plane crashes with the one United had 60 odd years ago?
As Gonz said, it would be career suicide for him to mock Munich live on Talksport, so unless he has had a few jars before work or completely lost his senses, then i have a hard time believing there is any Munich link and its just Matth talkin bollocks as usual.
If it is found to be different, i will of course apologise....
