Just listened to that clip. You really have to be a special kind of ****** IMO to be offended by that or link it to Munich.
Now you're tarring everyone with the samr brush. I'm not doing that at all and that's not my intention either.
Wasnt really referring to you mate, more Matth and Shergar, who are calling for blood on the basis of a completely unrelated, innocuous comment made by a guy just because he once played for a rival team
I can see what you're saying, but I still don't agree with the timing thing. If you try and make claims like that then it will just lead to stupidity, a bit like it already does with some Liverpool fans insisting that the middle two weeks of April should contain nothing that might possibly refer to Hillsborough. Ultimately you respect and remember people who lost their lives, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect people to walk on eggshells for a certain period every year, and like I said above I extend the same logic to any club. Otherwise it will just end up being stupid - should we have had no fireworks to celebrate winning the title in 2009 and 2011 because it was a few days after the anniversary of the Bradford City fire?
I don't think it was avoiding talking about it but more about not getting into an argument about it. Matth is a knob for jumping on this story, sad little twat looking to have a go at anything Liverpool.
Can this thread be renamed to Matth - the twat? Good posts Swarbs and bod Clearly what has happened here is twatter exploded with some thickos and Matth, not being able to think for himself, jumped on the bandwagon which has all died down now
As it's February, maybe he was having an oblique snide at Buddy Holly. Bet you the unforgiveable **** makes sly remarks about some teams sinking down the table in the same month the Titanic sunk too. Bastard. Thanks for having me back after three years.
Nothing is more repulsive in football than jibes about death and disasters, and having experienced songs and chants about Munich first hand, it really does sicken me. But, in all fairness to Danny Murphy, you cannot claim that his plane crash story has any sinister links to Munich, or United. My own honest opinion is that the thread is just another Matth attempt to get his name up with a new thread., .
