Mariappa and Guedioura returning to the club from Palace has been rumoured.

Be good news on both fronts I feel if true.

I'd be Glad All Over if Guedioura comes back.
Mariappa hasn't impressed much since being away, apparently.... hopefully if he returns it will signal a return to form.

Sheffield Wednesday and Watford look like they will be very busy today.Lots of info flooding into us this morning [HASHTAG]#SWFC[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#watfordfc[/HASHTAG]

Bugger - I'm back to work today & won't find any news until this evening... <grr>

I have a day off today - which is always a good thing. Even more so on Day of the Deadline.

So I am up late tonight to catch some early rumours and will be glued to Five Live, TalkSport and the Interweb tomorrow (despite promising Ms. Saxet that I would have a load of chores done).

Watford have rejected bids from Hull City and West Brom for their striker Odion Ighalo, according to Sky sources.

The Hornets reportedly turned down two recent offers which were understood to be around £5m.

It has also been suggested that Watford would accept £6m for the 25-year-old Nigerian forward.

Ighalo, who moved to Vicarage Road from Italian club Udinese last July, has scored 11 goals this season including eight since Christmas.

The Watford Observer understands the Hornets will not consider any offers for Odion Ighalo during the January transfer window despite a report claiming bids of £6m would be accepted.

Not too fussed we didn't bring in anyone yesterday - we've done some decent business in January, bringing in Layun, Watson and the CB, plus getting rid of Andrews, McGugan and Dyer. The loan window reopens next week so imagine we will bring in the CB and CM needed once other teams reassess their squads. Palace brought in 7, including a few midfielders, so maybe Guediora will become available again
