£3m is a perfect amount to pay. + a 50k pw contract no doubt. Makes good business sense for a 22 year old prem striker. muhc better than £35 million on Carroll or £25 on berahino ffs
Not between PL clubs. If they were in the FL then it wouldn't be a problem. You'd have thought some ****er would have checked the rules first like
Much like how Ronaldo was never going to be sold to Madrid and Rooney was 'once a ue always a blue' they're hardly going to come and say yes he going etc are they? Say no and play hard to get in order to get more money
You know it's a media/rumour thing that's produced this right? I know we appear mickey mouse at times but I'm sure our guys know the rules!!
Not being funny, but wouldn't keeping Ings and improving your survival chances worth a **** ton more than losing him and being relegated for a few lousy mil.
That's why he was supposed to stay there on loan for the rest of the season. The choice was get a few million or wait for him to leave on a free.
Rule V7 - “A Temporary Transfer to a Club may not take place in the Transfer Window in which the Transferor Club acquired the Player’s registration.” Isn't the Transferor club Burnley? We would be the Transferee club .... I'm confused
I think we would buy him, then be the transferor club for the loan back. There's nothing wrong with us buying him, it's then us loaning him back again that couldn't happen.
They won't sell him this window as his potential goals could be worth way more than a couple of £m in the hand now. Not happening.
It's only allowable outside of the English FA not within it then? I think the rules have changed because it has happened in the past.
The fact that the Echo ran with a big piece on the pro's and cons of the deal this morning, suggests that the info was considered to be strong and almost certainly from within. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...guments-against-liverpool-fcs-pursuit-8546685
