I think Bruce is stalling until we let Sagbo go. Now we have Jelavic and Hernandez back in full training I presume Bruce will not be so desperate for a striker. Ramirez will be fit, Aluko will be fitter (neither are strikers, but Bruce thinks they are), and after Aluko's first half performance against West Ham I think it should be him and Jelavic upfront, as he is most likely to be the fittest out of him and Hernandez according to the HDM. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...dez-fit-face/story-25930016-detail/story.html
It's suicidal to not sign another striker this window, given how likely Jelavić and Hernandez are to be injured again on the 3rd February >
Hull City could make a loan bid for Manchester United's Nick Powell after scouts saw him score against Liverpool's Under-21s on Monday. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was recalled from his previous loan spell at Leicester City in December after receiving scant playing time and doing little to impress manager Nigel Pearson. Hull City boss Steve Bruce is on the lookout for attacking options in the current transfer window, but does not have much spare cash to play with because of concerns over Financial Fair Play at the club. Powell, who scored on his debut for United and did well during a loan spell at Wigan Athletic last season, could be an option for the Tigers, who have just appointed ex-United assistant manager Mike Phelan to the Bruce's backroom staff. Phelan scouted Powell on several occasions before United agreed a deal worth up to £6million with Crewe Alexandra for the midfielder in July 2012. The former England Under-21 star is thought to be looking for a loan move within the north west to make travelling easier after losing his driving license for 14 months over a drink-driving offence in April 2014. https://www.clubcall.com/manchester-united/young-united-midfielder-watched-by-hull-city-1756679.html
Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO Ravel Morrison has arrived in Italy to finalise his move to Lazio from West Ham.
What ****ing difference does a driving licence make to a footballer? He could have chauffeurs coming out his arse. Don't want the prick anyway.
Yeah I'm not sure he really needs to worry about transport, we do have trains in this country, and as you say, it's not like he couldn't sort a driver. Moaning ****er.
Transfer Centre Live @TransferCentreL Wigan Athletic are set to sign Inverness striker Billy McKay. Didn't someone on here keep banging on about this fella? (he's scored 54 in 121 for Inverness CT)
So he hasn't impressed at a team below us in the table, I honestly can't see any point in this signing whatsoever.
What has the position of a team in the table got to do with it? And football is full of countless stories about players not doing well at one club and then another. Paul Pogba didnt impress Sir Alex Ferguson, he's now likely to be sold for a world record fee a couple of years later...
Pogba did impress sir Alex but refused to sign a new contract as Pogba wanted to be playing every match and Fergie couldn't make that promise.
Whoops, seems our walking talking encyclopaedia of Italian football is wrong. Everyone who knows anything about football knows Pogba simply wouldn't sign another deal, despite it being offered.
