Who is up to the job but get overlooked? If you can assert something without evidence....I will dismiss it just as easily
I don't need to provide any evidence mate, there are obviously non white people that are capable of doing any job you'd like to name. Unless of course you think non white people are not as educated as white people or don't have the same capacity to learn, that's a dangerous path to take tbh.
I said not hing of the sort fella who is up for the job but gets overlooked? you paint yourself into a corner and then have knowhere to go
Not at all, there are literately millions of non whites in the UK and you think I know all of their names, their place of employment and their current job status.
He was questioning what you think, not what you said and tbh you're coming at this topic in a strange way.
What I think is that there are other people who are more suitable for the jobs he has mentioned. There are many non whites/non brit nationals in very powerful posts in the UK. But when someone see's a chance to have a dig at the establishment they always will http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patricia_Scotland,_Baroness_Scotland_of_Asthal
It is perfectly valid, someones says that these roles are blocked...but have no evidence, so I will also dismiss his claims without evidence
There's shed loads of evidence if you look for it. For example, the number of blacks and minorities leaving uni with equal degrees to white leavers and see which group is best employed.
But it is true, he went straight to have a pop at the 'establishment' I gave a very prominent example of a non white woman (**edit who was in **edit) in one of the most powerful roles in the UK
Well I am sure you have these stats to hand, that they breakdown location and degree type and area they looked for a role/if they got a role in the chosen area of study
Why is it a 'pop' ?? we're all adults here having a reasoned discussion. If you go to the top jobs in a society like Page did, it's a good indication of how far that society is progressing in terms of equal opportunity.
There are undoubtedly people in high ranking positions and therefore positions of power and influence who hold racist opinions, this is inevitable given the age profile of many of them. As they wash out of the system then the rate of change in terms of equal opportunity at the upper echelons will improve
Sorry for using the incorrect terminology. As highlighted once earleier I have given a fine example of people getting the top jobs who are in the so called 'minority'
Yes they're all available - go and have a look.
