People are actually calling for his head on Twitter. Today was a massive missed opportunity, and I was angry at the game, but you've got to give him plenty of time. I think he will succeed, either this season or next.
I'm starting to believe we have too much dead wood to get promoted this season - it might almost be detrimental (although I still crave it). We need to get shot of some of these individuals and build a team - that's all you need in this league.
People are actually calling for his head on Twitter.
Then they're mental! Another reason (not that I needed it) not to read twatter. Give the guy a chance for Heaven's sake. Lots to put right, but I still believe. Sad to see some I thought were level-headed over-reacting in the worst possible way.
Deadwood is right - too many players trading on past glories - certainly on today's showing. Trouble is, can we and will we, move any of them on ? Probably not now so I guess we are stuck with them and Alex has to get the best out of them if we are to stand any chance of the play-offs. The shirt should mean something more than a paycheck to the players - a lot of them have to show that it does mean so much more and start playing for the team and not the salary.
I don't buy the 'deadwood' argument. A good manager should be able to achieve success with the players we have. This is Neil's test. Yes there may be some tweaking in this window but not major changes. He was brought in to work with these players and achieve a play-off place at least. That is still possible, but it's up to him to get them working as a team to get the results we need.
We played better with Adams in charge imho but I'm not going to write off the Scottish bloke just yet. He will no doubt plunder Accies for his "guys" & probably some other third rate SPL players but not spend too much of the board's money . If we fail to go up and so do Brentford poach their manager and best players.. Twitter & FB attract idiots that take photos of themselves tell the World how large their last dump was and film each other putting buckets of water over their heads.. #lol great teckerz etc ****ers.
Can't beat a good old fashioned generalisation. Next you'll be telling us that all football fans are 'thugs'
I don't think you're an idiot at all but don't you think it's a little rich that you've labelled everyone on social media as an idiot (baring in mind why the subject of twitter was brought up) only to write off the new manager yourself after three games?
It's even worse than that, HfM, it's plain imbecilic to generalise to that extent, as I pointed out in an earlier response above. WTF gives you the right to 'judge' millions of frequently erudite and honest people just cos you saw some twat tip a bucket of water over his head for charity. It's ****ing moronic, apologies for the asterisks but jeeezus christ
#I'm not going to write the Scottish bloke off just yet. You can retweet that if you like. Also I said that Twitter & fb attract idiots not that everyone that posts on social media IS an idiot . So you were wrong on both counts.
Take a look at the Norwich facebook page most can't spell and there are some grade A morons frequenting that particular "group". If you two like Twitter and Facebook then power to you I personally do not .
Although I do like Twitter (Facebook's a waste of time), that wasn't my point. I was simply pointing out the irony.
