Mike Phelan, the 'real manager' at Manchester United and his view on Robbie Brady moving to Hull City. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...r-Alex-Fergusons-years-Manchester-United.html
RH are saying that Phelan has refused to comment on the speculation linking him with the job, it's looking more and more likely.
Norwich had won 1 of the last 10 when he joined them earlier this season (5 losses and 4 draws). They then went on to win 5 of the next 7 (plus one draw). That can't be a coincidence.
These quotes are very interesting and in light of this it's a hugely brave decision by Bruce to appoint him. The main criteria of ANY manager choosing his assistant is first and foremost it has to be someone who doesnt want his job. I can feel a Parky and Brown situation coming on however this time the manager appointed the person to take his job! Massive respect to Bruce for this, he really has put the good of the club ahead of his own future. Unless he's quitting for the Jawdies in the summer...
No kidding Quill, I once had a bloke on another board beg me to send him the following weeks football results - he was convinced that we were a week in front!
