Does anyone know just what i going on with bringing someone in to replace Agnew? Seems a little worrying that we don't seem to have filled the position after nearly a month. Its not as though we are waiting for someone to give notice (unless nothing has been said), there doesn't even seem to be anyone on the radar.
In the absence of dislike & bad rep buttons I'll just have to come out & say it. You're a moronic ****. On topic, I believe that after Sunday's game Bruce said he would be getting on it in the next couple of weeks.
It is now VERY evident if it wasnt already that we didnt have a say in his leaving. So that begs the question, why did he leave? And if anyone swallows the financial story then you should give your head a shake.
That's the point. Why did he choose to leave for a club in a lower league with - presumably - worse resources? If there's a valid reason ie his family live near there as I see he ended his playing career in Gateshead then that's fine, but tell us this. I dont for one minute swallow the story circulated that Boro offered him a financial package that we wouldnt / couldnt match.
As my ESP isn't working this morning I can't say. Like I said, it's AA's fault! GET THAT **** AWAY FROM MY CLUB etc.
He was offered a 5 year contract at Boro. I presume he was a one year rolling contract like Bruce. Wouldn't it be a bit weird if we offered our assistant manager 5 year contract wile our manager is only on a one year rolling contract?
Dont be such a twat, you dont need ESP. My entire ****ing point is why isnt the club telling us the reason if it is perfectly reasonable? If Bruce quit tomorrow to take the Newcastle job I'm pretty sure we'd be given a reason why and it's a fair guess that is "I'm from the area and it's my dream job".
If that's the case then bingo. Has he got a 5 year deal confirmed? If so it is a hell of an offer for an assistant.
Right, you just ended every single comment to the media from everyone associated with football. What are we going to talk about now?
I'm certain Bruce said it in a interview with Burnsy. I think it was after the Sunderland game on Boxing Day.
He did, if I could be arsed (which I'm not) I'm pretty sure it's still on TigerPlayer *spit* - but hey, let's not spoil a ****ing good conspiracy by listening to SB giving the facts re. Aggers departure.
Who said anything about a conspiracy let alone a "****ing good" one? There's some strange posts today.
Who said; ''I dont for one minute swallow the story circulated that Boro offered him a financial package that we wouldnt / couldnt match'' ? YOU clearly don't believe the story, as related by SB, concerning Agnews departure ? YOU, obviously think there's another reason, SB must be lying and therefore there must be a conspiracy to keep the true story out of the public domain. Or am I reading your post wrong?
You're reading my post wrong. In the past Burnsy (or someone from RH, cant be arsed to check) said the story from the club - not Bruce, I never mentioned Bruce - was that Boro had offered a financial package that we wouldnt / couldnt match yet the fact that we've nobody lined-up for a month also suggests we didnt want him to go. Now as we're a Premier League club with income - I'm guessing - probably 5 times that of Boro I was suggesting that this is hard to believe. Sorry for being completely logical about it. Now if the club spokesperson - NOT BRUCE, I NEVER SAID HIM OR IMPLIED HE LIED - had said to Burnsy (or whoever) that it was the security of contract length that was the carrot then it wouldve made complete ****ing sense.
