I have 47 years following City, my wife has 32 years. If we stay in the premier league and Allam is still in charge, it's likely we will call it a day. Already missed 3 home games for various reasons and can honestly say we've not been bothered. The club clearly has no respect for me or for the dedication I've given for nearly five decades, it was never just about the football, the passion has mostly gone and I've had enough.

There is sense and logic in this post. Allam should just **** off.

You're not wrong, it's very sad.

Maybe Mr Allam will realise we are in a relegation battle and we need everybody pulling in the same direction
and tell the FA he's changed his mind ?

James said it wasn't possible to get it sorted with the FA pre-Christmas and the club didn't want it in January, due to the transfer window, so February was the first available date.

I have no idea if a date is fixed or not, but I don't expect us to be told, I expect to hear nothing other than the outcome once it's all finished.

He seemed as confused as the rest of us as to why it had taken longer than the original November timeframe. There was some confusion on here before where we thoguht maybe that November thing was a minimum but it wasn't. The date should have been November at the latest.

Id like to see what odds Hills are offering on that one, prob on a par with Cambridge winning the FA Cup

Allam looks more than capable of cutting off his not inconsiderable nose to spite his face

He doesn't see things the same way that fans that followed the club through the lower leagues do. How many of us can explain why we followed the club to all corners of the country knowing we were likely to get beat? How many of us could give good explanations as to why we would rather go to Plymouth away than a family birthday party? Those that only see Premier League football as the attraction can never understand, and Allam is in that category.

The club won't cease to exist, it will just be temporarily bastardised, like a car you've had a bump in with a pink bumper on it til it gets sprayed.

Do Hull Tigers currently exist?

Nail on head !!!!

Yes, I've been following Hull City for over 46 years but I'm finished if the name changes...............not my club anymore

The one thing I can't forgive Allam for is splitting the fans. We were always together against the world before this rubbish, all to spite the council who don't care anyway.
If you want to annoy the council Allam, try standing against them in an election but kindly leave our football club (and its name) alone

A quality post, thank you. :emoticon-0148-yes:

You certainly wont be the only ones, the amount of people who say they aren't renewing no matter what happens is quite startling.

The tinpot dictator will learn the hard way.

But it's the club support that pays the price for educating the tin-pot dictator.

I've been going to see Hull City A.F.C for around 15 years now, and despite all this bullshit that our current owner continues to spout out, he is the best ever owner we have ever had. I'm not old enough to recall previous chairmen like Martin Fish and David Lloyd for example, but I'm sure everyone on here would rather stick with Allam than go back to them days. The club were in despair, had no money to pay the wages, locked out of our own ground, etc. Whereas we have now assembled the best squad ever, we were very close to achieving an unthinkable feat in winning the FA Cup, and we play in the best league in the world, albeit currently struggling, as lady luck hasn't looked down upon us favourably this season.

However, after taking all this into consideration, I don't see how the FA, FIFA, or anyone can justify letting Allam change the clubs name. Unless he turns around and says "If you let me change the name and I will go out and buy Messi or Ronaldo" I can't see many people changing their mind on this matter. Changing the name will not benefit us much at all, I can't see how it will, it will only bring ridicule.

I do not think I could see myself not buying a season pass if he does get his way, because despite whatever Allam, the FA or whoever call the club, it will always be Hull City A.F.C to me. I feel sorry for those of you who feel that strongly that you have to give up your pass due to our owners stupidity, but in all honesty I think you need to get a grip. The more people that walk out, the more likely he will get his way. You're letting him win, especially when he referred to us fans opposing his proposal as "Hooligans", well who's laughing now? Him, because you're all walking away from the fight. I suppose you could look at it as you don't want to fill his pockets with your own money, well don't buy a hat and scarf, don't buy a car sticker, etc, the last thing you should do is give up on your club.
