    Not true.

He didn't leave on a free as his contract didn't expire until end of the season so it was probably a mutual agreement that he could go for nothing.

  2. Yeah, I know. But if we were due compensation in the summer, why let him go for free now? He wouldn't have been on a lot of money (in footballing terms)

No idea but we've agreed to the transfer as he's left while still under contract so no compensation would be due.

We've either agreed to sell him really cheaply to get rid of agreed to just let him go for nothing to save wages (or ben kind and say just go and pay football)

  4. Glad he'll get to play now but can't help feel its going to prove to be a mistake

Have the terrible feeling Suso will turn out to be our Pogba. We're gonna regret this

    Eh?

That's not going to happen. Pogba had lots of attributes to make him a real top cm

Suso hasn't a goo where his best position is and is good at a lot if things but not outstanding..

We will just have to wait and see. I rated him highly but the works not been there but the attitude that he should be playing has been. Frankly since Borrell left the lads not progressed much

I'd perfer to think that hey we just recalled Ibe and have a fully filled squad in this area. Let's back young coutinho frankly as he's a better player by far in the same slot

So best of look to suso... Lads have to go to make a career which can earn millions but he made his choice last summer to say no deal so why should we develop him more?

Seriously lads... Can't you see that just ending it no is in our interests as having a disinterested party getting no games can be a little poisonous to others in the same boat.

Better he goes cos he was going to offer nothing bar perhaps Europa bench for us so why gave him gang round collecting a cheque

Everyone says bye we luv ya and move on... No potential sulks

This is why borini should have gone but it seems he won't but he must be at least working hard for his chance I suppose sigh....

Balotelli must be a luagh a minute in training too.....

I think secretly sturridge was sent off to us to train not for sunshine but to get his mopey cross face out of there... He strikes me as a right buzz kill that fella unless he's at the heart of things

I think Suso is maybe just not built for English football.

    I dunno

If bojan is anyone is. I reckon the boy just hasn't found his feet yet. Needs a clear best position and honestly if he was loaned say to west brom he might flourish but it's his choice to play big club merry go round and so I think he will struggle to find that slot at ac

For me you can ask why not go to English club but he chose not to sign again, chose to deck off to a bottom Spanish club so why would a top championship or lower Orem club want him anyway?

At least wisdom now is on a position to get a move that's good for him if Rodgers really doesn't rate him but if I were him is simply sign up for us and keep going

    Here's another good example

    Pongolle and le tallec

Both highly thought of... Both houllier signings, both flops

One is buried in lower French league.. Why bad attitude, low work rate

One went to lower Spanish team and worked hard, he always worked hard and he ended up at atletico and was part of the teams which built towards their success

    Neither Paul Pogba.....

If we think the worst sure... Everything is a nightmare but in general things like that don't happen

After all for every Pogba there's a Morrison isn't there?

Pogba hardly got a chance at United, he wanted to stay there but they weren't willing to give him the time to grow. He clearly was going to be a great player.

Suso had played much more games for us and in some games was taken off by half time as the game just past him by. He's good but not better than Coutinho or Lallana.

He is just Pacheco reincarnated. Average to good, having said that, he is similar to Lallana, who we wasted £25m on.

Pogba had no look in at United, moved elsewhere to a club willing to give him a chance and time and look at him now?
No one can say for sure what will happen with Suso but he, like Pogba, has moved to a top Italian team who are willing to give him a chance (well, a long contract at least).

To be perfectly honest, the fact that a team like AC Milan were so quick to give the kid a 4.5 year deal speaks volumes for his ability and makes you question the sense in releasing him. Most kids with potential like Pacheco go to small teams.

Look Pogba got really pissed off with ferguson over an incident and was never signing up again

Pogba was tapped up by utd, they settled the case so..... Yeah it was always flagged the boy was hot property

Honestly Pogba got plenty of games but ferguson said he joined juve "a long time ago as far as we're aware."

He got 7 games at utd over 2 years at a time when utd were at the top fighting for the title

Accusing the boy of the same thing utd did and disrespecting the club

So..... Does that tell us he's a brilliant talent underused or someone impatient to succeed?

Therefore I'd perfer to say in my own opinion.... Suso is not at the level to be considered in my mind to be one that got away. He played a lot for us, very variable, and got a lot of games in Spain

I could argue why was there not a queue formed in the summer for him? He did ok in Spain but we never heard of a real offer for him

I just think for me.... He's good but I'd not at this point having seen quite a bit of him that he's one of the best 16 year olds I've seen but not one of the best 18 or 20 year olds

He's 21 and I think he can be a pongolle but not a pogba

I remember we were linked to Bony before he went to Swansea. Always remember thinking how the hell did a newly promoted side get him!! I would have liked us to try and get him last summer. He did score 20 goals last season. Origi, could be okay for us. Hardly firing at the moment though. Doesnt inspire confidence as to how we overcome our current striking problems.

You;re right - we were and we turned him down. Bony was prolific in the Dutch/Belgian league (can't remember where he played) and he was a talented player. I would loved to have signed him for a small amount at that time but I really didn't want us to sign him for £18m because I felt we could get better for a similar amount (Lacazette).

He's a good player but I rather we signed someone who fits our style a lot better.

Being linked with Falcao today... No thanks. Nothing he's done has shown me he's worth the wages let alone the transfer fee.

Doesnt look ok like he's fully recovered from injury.

Aldo Romas forward, Matteo Destro... No idea about hom?
