Highly unlikely baring in mind Madrid said the other day that they wanted to keep him for the rest of his career.
That'd be a really good move for Olsson! Doubt we'll let him go though, unless silly money is involved.
Well Swansea are cash rich at the moment, if the offer is reasonable I'd be tempted to cash in. His form hasn't been great all season, and if he wasn't reasonably quick I think he'd have been caught out more. Hasn't offered much going forwards either.
I think if we get a good offer we should let him go, provided we signing a replacement LB. Can't see him hacking it in the premiership, he hasn't exactly stood out in the championship.
He was many peoples choice as POTS for us last year in the Prem - pipped, unfairly, imho, by Snodgrass. He was one of the few who looked like they could not only "hack it", but thrive
AN has indicated that he will 'go and get' Tony Andreu from Hamilton if he feels we are short in that position. I'm not sure we are short (Hoolahan/Odjidja-Ofoe/Howson) but I still wouldn't be surprised to see the move materialise.
I think Olsson is undoubtedly Premier League class but his form has certainly dipped this season. Not sure if the death of his father and lack of pre season as a result has anything to do with it.
Wilfred Zaha? He's back at Palace. Also still only on loan from Man U, though I think CP have agreed to take him back permanently, though I'm not entirely sure of that.
Na, never really did anything at Cardiff, then again, he hasn't done a thing since signing for Man U. Another case of the big clubs throwing their wads around just so no one else can have the exciting young players. Completely stalled his career. This is the issue with English football in general in my opinion. Good English youth talents get bought by the top clubs then sit in the reserves or on the bench for several years. You just have to look at the likes of Bertrand and Naughton, both of whom should be playing first team football in the Prem really, they've been sat on Chelsea and Spurs bench or been out on loan at Championship clubs. I really hope Southampton buy Bertrand, he's a player that has been calling out for a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge.
To be fair to Bertrand and Chelsea he has played almost 200 first team games by the age of 25 and started in the Champions League final that Chelsea won. He's racking up plenty of points in my dream team this year as well.
I'm not sure we'll see allot of transfer action, I'm sure AN had alist of prospcetive players he wanted for Hamilton (like shopping at kwiksave) , but he's kind of changed supermarket now (Sainsburys maybe!). He would probably have a great idea of freebies, promising youngsters and lower league players who might make the step up to the SPL, but Accies transfer record was £180000, so the sort of players who could improve us he will not likely have been able to scout/learn about sufficiently, will he trust our scouts and existing coaching team? will they have the right info? I think we'll only replace departures or plug any glaring gaps he can perceive in the next 2 weeks. So a RB and a LW if anything. Bah!
