I was impressed by Anthony Knockaert of Leicester last year, not sure he is getting in there team much. worth a punt?

Mirror claims we're lining up Scott Sinclair as a replacement for Nathan Redmond should he move to pastures new

I see the seagulls are unveiling Hughton as manager today? At least he'll know Benno!

Sinclair surely wouldn't want to drop down a division?

Getting the youngsters out on loan has got off to a bad start, Jacob has been sent back after his Snapchat faux-pas

Silly boy, let's hope he's learned his lesson quickly and isn't another Chrissie Martin!

I've seen links to Hamilton's young fullback too, possibly with Garrido leaving the club.

Neil needs to get a feel for the current quality of the squad before going back to Hamilton for players. I know some managers like a few players they're worked with before but they need to be of the correct standard. Andreu looks a good player but we need to know we're getting someone capable of driving us forward.
Also central mid is by far our most over staffed area.

Especially with Vadis now returning from injury. We have no idea yet of the impact he can have on our play.

Though Andreau seems a much greater goal threat than Wes, though creatively I do not have a scoobies.

Going back to Elliot Bennett, surely we'll need him here if AN wants to play a 4-1-4-1 formation, as we're short of wingers as it is.

Just tapped into the Q&A with Paddy Davitt of EDP. Somebody suggested , if Hooper goes anywhere, Nahki Wells or Jordan Rhodes as a replacement. JR, is he our new Shola?

This must be one if the quietest windows for rumours we've had in 5 or more years so far!

I'm not all that surprised though - other than Redmond none of our players have ever looked like attracting much interest what with their form being too up and down. I'd say our best players for the first half of the season are Johnno and Jerome and I just can't see a PL team wanting to buy them. Not for the price we would be looking for anyway.

And as for us, that obviously had to wait for the new manager, but our problems aren't really a shortage of personnel other than may be on the left wing. So not that surprised there either.

Not really a fan of wingers but apparently the new man is. Centrally we surely have plenty but they are perhaps not up to playing even left midfield.

I don't see anyone spending big on Redmond, he's just not done enough and would be a big risk. Mind you Rogers seems to love blowing money on over priced players at the moment.

Redmond isn't that much of a risk, his got talent and potential to be a top player. Isn't Jerome on loan from Stoke? don't think he's ours to sell. Other than Hooper (QPR or Bolton might have a look at him) I'm not worried about many of our players leaving in this window.
