The Spurcat 2015 'I must not explode at football TV pundits' NY
resolution has lasted 10 days (was there a prediction league for it ?? ) . :-)

Given the investment at Forest, I'd say that Pearce has been walking a tightrope since their form dropped off.
Great start, lost to us and then **** ever since. Very odd.

Peterborough's chairman has sort of backed Ferguson, though.
He's posted a series of tweets slagging off their players, the ref and some of the fans, anyway! <laugh>

I have only just seen these tweets of his. That is one heck of a rant. Fair play to him, it's his club and he has invested a lot of money so I guess he feels this entitles him to have his say. They've recently opened a very impressive new stand and he doesn't want people not turning up because the players are crap.

If this is a backing for Ferguson Junior, then I will replace him on my list of imminent sackings with Ian Holloway at Millwall.

Just heard an interesting fact on 5 live,De boer made the final 2 for the Spurs job,and Levy chose MP

It make sense as they always seemed to be the top 2 once it was clear Sherwood was not for the long term.

What was their source, out of interest?

"There was some good news during the week when ITV announced they were not renewing Andy Townsend's contract.
That was a nice new year present for me was that."

:D

I was not aware of that. Credit to him for keeping that gig running for so long.
Do ITV lose Europa League coverage from next season too ??

I think BT have got it haven't they ?

Edit. BT have for CL. I think ITV still have Europa.

Yeah, I wasn't sure either whether BT had got some of the Europa pie too.

The downside is tis only a matter of time before he gets a gig on some overseas
channel (which could be a more effective deterrent for illegal game streaming than
blocking wiziwig) .

If I see Thierry Henry on my Sky TV screen one more time, I am going to be really tempted to put my foot through it. Their current love-in with this guy is now completely embarrassing.

To be honest, I thought he was a very good pundit whenever he was on the BBC. I don't have much faith in him giving any unbiased analysis when we're playing though :(

Why do you seemingly know better? You seem to miss the whole point of this debate in trying to ram your opinion down everybody else's throat. Yes, the jury delivered a guilty verdict, whilst aquitting the other party. What is very much open to debate, is why? We have seen no evidence, physical or otherwise to suggest that the girl was raped.
We probably ought to stop this but I've not been trying to ram my opinion anywhere. I've simply been consistently saying that anyone who hasn't sat through more than a week of evidence is in no position to second guess the jury. I've got no idea whether Evans is guilty but until his conviction is over-turned society is entitled to treat him as guilty.

In the link PnP posted the Appeal Court specifically dealt with the issue of the different verdicts and found nothing odd. And what physical evidence are you expecting exactly? As far as I can tell the woman gave no evidence other than that she could remember nothing about what happened.

Yes, you're right, it should end here. You have your opinion, I have a different one.

After today's results, I predict that Stuart Pearce will be sacked by Forest within he next few days and I predict Darren Ferguson will be sacked by Peterborough within the next few days.

I didn't consider Peeters at Charlton, but he has now gone today. There will be plenty of applicants for that job

BT have both Europa and CL next season. I think ITV may have highlights only. There would be nothing for him to do next year. Rumours are that Lineker will get the CL gig.

Are BT attempting to assemble the worst team of pundits and commentators in the history of the game or something?
Imagine Andy Townsend and Michael Owen working together. I'm almost comatose just thinking about it.
