Arseway Steel continue to be the worst kind of NIMBY - they've now announced that they want to take their challenge of our CPO on the burned-out shell of their premises to the high court, and expect to be heard on February 17th-18th.

Which will happen first: we kick them in the yarbles in the high court (not literally...) or the cost of their consistent twatting about causes them to go bankrupt, which further delays the new stadium as the liquidator has to sort out the mess?
 
Bizarre rumour that our good friend David Ginola is to run for FIFA president. Would need to have played "active role in football for 2 of the last 5 years" and be nominated by 5 member associations.

If there is a q & a, ask him about settling his differences with our club. Should be in our Hall of Fame even if the fans cough up the fee he objects to.

Ginola was campaigning for the England 2018 bid, so technically he qualifies.

It's the nomination process that is the issue with all potential FIFA candidates: nobody wants to risk losing a favour from Blatter by nominating somebody to stand against him. That's why they increased the required nominations from one to five.
 
I have just seen pictures of Defoe in his Sunderland shirt. somehow he just doesn't look right wearing red and white stripes. If he plays tomorrow, I predict he will get the mother of all receptions, probably on the same levels that England's Number One gets on his returns to WHL.

Alright lads <ok>

Was at the MK Dons V Sheff Utd game today and Sheffield aren't very good at all.

Just went round fouling everyone and when they got a chance there strikers we absolutely rubbish.

MK won 1-0 but also didn't play good.

On that game I woukd expect us to win by 4 or 5 but you know Spurs probs lose 1-0 <laugh>

Is it me or is our squad significantly more international than it has been ever before? I only noticed when looking on Wikipedia and all these flags jumped out :
