Garry Monk fears Thursday’s game at Queens Park Rangers will be Wilfried Bony’s last for Swansea.

Bony is a target for injury-hit champions Manchester City after finishing 2014 as the Premier League’s top marksman. His 20 goals in the calendar year have fired him to the top of Manuel Pellegrini’s shopping list.

The Ivory Coast striker will play at Loftus Road on New Year's Day, before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Bony is tied to the Swans to 2018 but has never hidden his desire to play for a top-four club.

Monk said: “The rumours rumble on, but those are not my concern until something happens.

“I know football, and things can happen quickly and different things come out of the blue, but we are expecting Wilfried to be back with us after the Africa Cup of Nations.

“Wilf will play against QPR and he will have to do as best he can because it’s a chance for Bafetimbi Gomis to show what he can do when he is away.”

It's also reported that Real Madrid are now interested in Bony...

His fears are our fears but nothing there which isn't anything but conjecture by the press , again.

Phil - probably not, but it would make the EPL take notice. May be a better course of action than calling out Mike Riley as Monk did previously. If anything, that worked against us as things seem to have got worse.......

I think you are right,Taff. Things have got worse since Monk's outburst.

Dont know , not my job.But 25 million will help the club on many levels .Good point the other day about finishing higher in the table and making money though matt.Never thought about that . We'll have a january window , and the18 games left this season and a ton of money to spend in the summer to work things out .Bony will go , lets get the most for him

Sell him too bob for what someone will pay, will never play for us or fit in Monks plans.Someone will pay big to take a chance on his past success with us.

In my opinion, the amount of terrible decisions by officials this season is unmatched throughout history.

I simply cannot believe how wrong they get things week after week. Liverpool got a penalty today after the ball hit a Leicester player in the face !

Why do you all think there's been so many wrong decisions this season ? Surely the game hasn't changed so much that the officials can't keep up ? We're talking decisions here that everyone apart from the officials can see are wrong - not 50/50 decisions where you win some, lose some.

In all seriousness - why is this happening ? It's really spoiling football. After the blindness of the Rob Green decision - I really felt like turning the match off because what's the point ? We'll never know what the true outcome should have been in that game because Green should have been sent off 100%. We didn't even get a free kick from it. Remember the West Ham game where the ref played advantage and then after they didn't score - gave them a free kick and sent our keeper off ?
It no longer matters who deserves to win the game - it comes down to whoever gets the luck of the decisions from the officials.

We have to have TV officials that can alert the ref on these things.
