Cricket has two on field and two off field umpires, the latter having access to TV images. If a far slower paced game makes such an effort to ensure its officials get things right, why is football still in the 19th century?

No wonder he hated the press so much in Italy - they called him on his bullshit immediately.Nice to see the media running with Mourinho's latest line of gibberish, genuinely discussing whether there's a campaign against Chelsea's diving squad.
When is one of them going to grow some balls and call him out on it? No wonder he loves the press over here.
I have stated already on another board.Nice to see the media running with Mourinho's latest line of gibberish, genuinely discussing whether there's a campaign against Chelsea's diving squad.

I know that and you know that, yet the media don't call him on it.I have stated already on another board.
Mourinho doesn't believe this at all.
A few of our players have been clocked diving recently, and because of this we did not get a penalty in the Stoke game (Boy who cried Wolf, you could say its karma, I wouldnt argue). So now Jose is reverse Psyching the situation by claiming refs are targetting us, so now they will ease up on booking our players for diving and denying penalties (whether deserved or not), just a mind game he likes to play....nothing more.

Swansea have been crap tonight, especially Shelvey, so they don't deserve anything out of this, but how on earth is Sterling still on the pitch?
Clearly strikes Fernandes in the face and not only is it right in front of the linesman, but he actually has to reach over his shoulder to do it.
Unbelievable.
Must've had his Anfield goggles on.Can't believe the linesman missed that one. He blatantly slapped him.
One very flukey goal and an own goal gave Liverpool four, not good enough.
He actually hits the linesman, too!

Swansea were terrible. Some poor selections by Monk, with Shelvey managing to stand out as being particularly ****e.The team which wasn't good enough was Swansea, not Liverpool. Catch them on a bad day and Swansea can look a poor side. Liverpool had some good individual performances, Adam Lallana is a good footballer and he showed it tonight.
